I found this expression on the news channel about the crypto currency: "Anyone who will try to buy coffee for cash in 2023, runs the risk of causing laughter from the seller, that he does not use crypto currency."
how do you think, is it realistic? Can a crypto currency replace national money?
I think that it's possible, but it will take more time.

I think that it's possible, but it will take more time.
bitcoin will not be able to replace the national currency, because the national currency is still to be used, as a system of exchanges for each country, therefore we can assess how strong the economy is in the country .. for all the scoring, every country has a crypto currency that is oriented to bitcoin |

No practically it seems not possible to happen.Not all the people would accept decentralised cryptos as their primary currencies.

I think that to replace the national currency will not be possible because the rupiah is the currency of our country's pride and will not also replace the bank because the bank will be a tool for exchange of bitcoin to the rupiah only maybe later as a means of exchange of aja from bitcoin to rupiah.
I'm sure the future bitcoin will be more developed .

Crypto currency is a virtual money on the other side natioalnal currency is a government and bank control fiat money. Bank and governments can't control cryptocurrency but virtual digital money easily controlled by the bank and governments.

yes currently it look like difficult but i future when bitcoin uses will increase too much then we can expect that people will convert their primary currency into bitcoin then they will surely start using bitcoin for shopping and for most of their daily uses, but surely it will take a long long time and it is not as such possible to happen so soon. |

I think no. BTC will not replace national currency. I just imagine that in the future there is digital currency but not Crypto. It's more like USD in digital form.

New payments system might be appeared using blockchain technology in the future. But I don't think the fiat which we are using now, will be removed. Many people will use fiat specially for small things like a coffee.

To replace the currency completely I think it is impossible, because between the bitcoin currency and the national money have their own position, and not all the world's population can access the bitcoin and especially the inland.

it is possible, in weak nation states like simbabwe people by far prefer cryptocurrencies, as the abuse by a central bank there isnt just supressing like in the west but even "abusive enslaving" it will however be difficult to replace a fiat currency in a society that is poor but easy to ad cryptocurrencies into a society that is rich and suffers from joblessness. cryptocurrencies cant therefore just be created and used for access to consumption capacities they should be used to increase economic capacities. |

It might be possible, but as you said it will require much more than just 10 years to become a reality. A national currency being replaced by crypto currency, that too something like bitcoin which is anonymous is a very far sighted idea. No government would want to take up a cryptocurrency by abolishing their national currency.
Ya there might be formation of digital money of tge same national paper money individually of every country because of the benefits of going digital. And that may some how replace the cash usage and will prompt digital transaction more.

I think that's impossible, because we know that not every place in the world can be reached by the internet and not all understand about bitcoin currencies, and all have their own use in the real world and the Internet world.

Its impossible for any crypto to replace national currency, fiat plays very important role in economics, it's the one that balance the inflation and deflation and national currency need to be centralised so it does not misused and controlled by the wealthy people, crypto only can be used as sub currency not national currency

If talk possibility, that case is possible but the problem is how big is the possibility? For this question, I think the possibility is very low for replacing national currency. As concluded on last G-20 convention that crypto is not currency but as asset, then I think all crypto can not replace national currency as must be studied and researched by G-20 nations. Perhaps just to add national currency, the possiblity is higher.

For me crypto is more good than our national currency and some goverments says the bitcoin is only fraud but people also believe in goverments but they didnt know that people are blind becausse nationalcurrency or paper money is only paper so i am sure that crypto is more goood than fraud paper money. |

Bitcoin is more secure and faster. These days, bitcoin transactions have become relatively more expensive (due to the high amount of transaction volumes in the network), however, they are more secure due to the complicated math algorithms behind the blockchain technology (which also makes them faster than fiat money transactions). Bitcoin is also better than cash, because it’s decentralized, and there is no speculative central authority institution or bank behind it.

I believe that channel is over reacting to things, at this time of age, people are still trying to do their best.to regulate cryptocurrencies, in time, crypto currency will be accepted by all and the fiat system will go down. Since there are already countries cresting their own cryptocurrency like japan, india and valenzuela, their might come a time wherein the whole world would agree to have a regional cryptocurrencys, just like what they did with euro, but still it will be backed up by bitcoin, but I don't see it happening in this life time, since if we go back to history, people didin't want to accept bank notes, since it is just a piece of paper, but after how many decades, people learned to accept bank notes, in which a transition like that will also happen to cryptocurrencies. |
