I found this expression on the news channel about the crypto currency: "Anyone who will try  to buy coffee for cash in 2023, runs the risk of causing laughter from the seller, that he does not use crypto currency."
how do you think, is it realistic? Can a crypto currency replace national  money?
I think that it's possible, but it will take more time.

I think they can because a lot of people wanted a tax free life especially those who are paying a lot of taxes we all know that the cryptocurrency especially bitcoins is a decentralized thing so no taxes at all. Hut the main thing that I see can be a barrier of the bitcoins defeating the cash is the volatility because not all people loves that especially when they are falling you dont want you money to go down wihtout doing anything.
Bitcoin is not really a way to avoid your taxes, this is a huge mistake that many people make, yes bitcoin is not controlled by any government but if you really want to have a life without worries then pay your taxes no one likes to do it but if you got incredible profits out of bitcoin then you can afford it, I know that is not the most popular opinion but pay your taxes and forget about any possible problems in the future.

No cryptocurrency can replace national currency. Even bitcoin cannot replace any national currency. Why? The prices of these cryptocurrencies are determined based on this national currency. What would be the value of bitcoin if not made as an equivalence of the USD? It is these national currencies that gives bitcoin and other currencies their value. I see Crytocurrencies as an asset that we buy with national currencies and so its hell impossible to replace fiat. Bitcoin will live for a long time but only with national currencies.

Comparing currency with crypto money of two currencies but in terms of their value equally as can be exchanged or traded as well as store but in common sense the national currency is known by many and has used the money and crypto money is the opposite

Some people don't want to change , very hard to convince all people but the future is cryptocurrency . And we know national currency can be controlled by the bank or government but they cannot control cryptocurrency. National currency is a material that follows with the every livelihoods of a country. But cryptocurrency is a multimedia that is only can control by those who actually knows its value.

I don't think that this is possible in the next 5 years. Always and everywhere there are such grandmothers who will not know what is the cryptocurrency. And governments of many countries will not allow legalizing cryptocurrency so much that it will be the main way of paying for goods and services.

Bitcoin as digital currency should take the same function as national currency. It can complete each other for better and faster services to people or customers. People have two choices to use in purchasing goods or services. That means bitcoin or national currency is acceptable so bitcoin holders or national currency holders are more flexible to use these payment instrument in daily economic transactions. We just need regulations to ensure this can run well.

I am not sure, because every  country has national currency. I think crypto will not be able to replace the national currency, because the national currency is still to be used, as a system of exchanges for each country. But, maybe in the future when the crypto dominate It will happen.

They are not meant to compete. Blockchain has much more to give than just cryptomoney transactions.
In many developed countries you can hardly see any cash, so if cryptos will prove to be fast, reliable and overall better than cash/credit, everyone will use it.

Crypto that is currency is far more better than National currency in the long run. Crypto has fixed supply which allow price to continue to grow

Decentralized cryptocurrencies will not replace national currencies. They can exist side by side, but replacement is excluded. Yes, you can buy a new video card or pay a subscription to the newspaper using the crypto currency, but the state will take taxes in its national currency. Decentralization is an obvious threat to the current state system. And this is good. No, I'm not saying that the state system will be destroyed and something like that. It will change adapting to the development of technology.

We are witnesses to the beginning of this remarkable event, which will last for decades. Don't miss it Wink

In my own opinion any cryptocurrency can't replace the national currency or fiat for government won't accept the idea of bitcoin because it is decentralize so the government can't control it because it is owned by everyone. Also cryptocurrencies supply today is limited and is make by the internet unlike the fiat that is unlimited and can produce a lot of supply.

I'm sure the system that the Blockchain system will change all understanding of money! before there was barter, then there were coins, then the change of coins was the appearance of paper money, then credit cards, then payment through the phone! and now a new evolution and transformation of money! came new money from the crypto market!I recently was in Brazailia and it is where payments through crypto coins, including bitcoin, are developing very much! There were about 15,000 stores that signed a cooperation agreement with dash! People are tired of constant inflation of money, this is because the countries - just print out new paper money! these countries do not even equal their money to gold! In Africa, a very difficult situation with inflation of paper money! for this I am sure that soon crypto coins will replace paper money and give a new very powerful push to the development of the world economy!

yes I agree with your opinion. if you want to secure then pay taxes. bitcoin is not present to avoid your taxes. here we need to know that bitcoin is a platform which can work very well because decentralized. many ordinary people just think that we bitcoin users deliberately avoid taxes. our main goal is to maximize profit from bitcoin as an investment impact

It just like having the idea of comparing cashless society and fiat money. I think cryptocurrencies can replace fiat money if only the former is very user friendly (especially for the IT illiterate, the beggars, the oldies) where everyone can use seamlessly. Another is that cryptocurrencies can not be used when you are not connected in the internet and even techies can do nothing about it.

I think in the future it is possible in bitcoin to replace as a national currency. As we all know, now a days bitcoin is usable in many ways like buying goods, paying bills and many more that can use on our daily lives. How much more in the future? But it will take long time to replace it.

Its hard to replace national currency with cryptocurrency. We do know that cryptocurrency created by individual or company and thats why its hard cryptocurrency to be national currency except government create their own cryptocurrency

I think its possible but not in 2023 I think maybe 50 years from now.. the world always upgraded its newest technology and we have here now the blockchain so its possible to happen but I think we cannot experience that..only the next generation.

Cryptos definitely will be part of the future, but replacing national currencies is a distant dream. Many people around the world don't even know crypto and for those who have heard about it, they don't know the uses of it. people need to be made aware of the cryptos and their possible uses. Not all are tech savvy too. using smart devices, wallets, and others will be really difficult for them.

I think there will be a change in currency in the future but this will not happen so fast. Sure bite that we still need a long time to be able to apply electronic money to the river. Therefore, it may take a few decades to completely change the currency. However, nowadays electronic money has been applied in a lot in practice. So, I believe in the future of electronic money
