I found this expression on the news channel about the crypto currency: "Anyone who will try to buy coffee for cash in 2023, runs the risk of causing laughter from the seller, that he does not use crypto currency." how do you think, is it realistic? Can a crypto currency replace national money? I think that it's possible, but it will take more time.
I do believe someday in future bitcoin will change national currency, like you said before, it will change but it will need more time than they thought maybe 10 year later or maybe more but i do not think all nation will apply bitcoin for their currency, because for now there are still banned cryptocurrency.

In my opinion, national currency is a material that follows with the every livelihoods of a country. But cryptocurrency is a multimedia that is only can control by those who actually knows its value. National currency can be controlled by the bank or government but they cannot control cryptocurrency.

So far with the global regulation of some countries that prohibit crypto currency, it is unlikely that crypto currency will become the world's currency, besides many people still do not understand crypto currency and still survive using conventional currency. Thus it would seem difficult for the crypto currency to replace the national currency.

Electronic money will not replace national money. Because every government must master, manage the economy, they are in power.

Cryptocurrency is the future as we all know but for it to replace cash will take an incredible good number of years perhaps centuries because there are still a generation among us which do not know anything about the internet and computer and until such generation is wiped out of the surface of the earth, cash will still be in existence.

I think it may happen in the future that cryptocurrencies will replace the local money but i think it will not yet realized til 2023. It's too early to tell, I think it takes many long years to make bitcoin to be adopted world wide because some countries does not trust Cryptos yet. It needs more promotions, spreading more awareness to all the people in the whole world.

In my opinion, no cryptocurrency can replace national currency. Even bitcoin cannot replace any national currency. Why? The prices of these cryptocurrencies are determined based on this national currency. What would be the value of bitcoin if not made as an equivalence of the USD? It is these national currencies that gives bitcoin and other currencies their value. I see Crytocurrencies as an asset that we buy with national currencies and so its hell impossible to replace fiat. Bitcoin will live for a long time but only with national currencies.

Cryptocurrency will not replace Fiat as a whole. The crypto currency and the national currency or what we called fiat money has a very big differences, first is the different in use and different in acceptance because bitcoin is not accepted in other stores especially now that bitcoin is not yet popular and other country is not yet accepting bitcoin.

I think, yes it can replace national currency but depends on the government of the country if they will approve using crypto currency or blockchain as payment.

I think this quote will be true for electronic money, not for cryptocurrency. to think that the cryptocurrency will replace the national currency is stupid.

There is no need to compare cryptocurrency to national currency because they are both different. Cryptocurrency is just online while national currency is physical. National currency have a higher chance to stay for a longer time compare to cryptocurrency that still have a lot of doubts from people since there is no strong supporter of that.

It is an inevitabilitiy. Maybe cryptocurrencies will die, but fiat currency will FOR SURE die. There is no need for paper or metal money anymore. It is too convenient and there are too many advantages of digital money to not chose it over physical money. The beauty of crypto though is that it can be transferred across the world for no fee (except gas of course), and that it can be divided in as many parts as needed, so prices can be as precise as needed.

First, like I said, the ability of all countries to be crypto conformed will not be possible especially in the less or underdeveloped nations of the earth. Africa no doubt will still be using fiat currency as well as parts of latin America and Asia. Europe may even still be using it. Look, Crypto is still in its infant age and its going to take a while to revolutionize the thinking and spending choices of most people. It will be beyond 2023.

In the near future, the use of cryptocurrencies to purchase stuffs will become rampant among many developing countries but I don't think it will completely displace these nations original currencies.

It could happen in 2023. But the opportunity can not happen if the bitcoin price is still unstable, fiat money is superior to bitcoin because of its stability. I am afraid if bitcoin is used as the currency of a country officially and eliminates fiat currency will happen inflation.

No,bitcoin will not be able to replace national currency because national currency was issued by the government while bitcoin or crypto is a digital currency. They are different types of currency with different uses. Digital can't use as fiat money or national currency because it is always needs access to internet everytime you make a transaction and not all the people all over the work know how to use it even a small gadget and those who are old enough they don't know how to use digital currency. They just familiar with fiat money and not digital. Aside from that not all countries accept cryptocurrency that's why it is impossible to happen that one day crypto or bitcoin will replace our national currency.

I think both are linkages and they work with their respective systems so everything will work well if the government gives legality to bitcoin
