Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I really trusted this coin, thats why i exchanged them for about 0.26 BTC (may seem low to you but its half of my money).

But right now im in a mess because i bought it when it was 52. Looks like my crypto-coin adventure is over lol.

i think we need a little more PR to stop the constant downfall  Shocked
It is hard but the truth, GRA is still the profitablest coin to mine and so we need first more hasrate bfore iGRA get more worth, because when your favorite is an other coin it is better to mine GRA and sell it for your favorite than to mine your favorite and so there are always more sell than buy orders and the downfall continues.

I don't want to push you to do anything as this is your money, but there is a number of rules to follow when you do trading. I don't know all these rules as I am not a trader, but some of them I remember. One of the rules is how and when to buy. Let's look into your case.
You bought, say, 1000 at 52. Then the price went down. Provided the coin is really young and has not been traded on most exchanges yet, the chances its price will go up are high. The rule states not to sell now at 26, but buy some more. For the simplicity of calculations let's buy 1000 more at 26. Now we have 2000 that was bought at average price (52+26)/2, i.e. 39. Now, if the price grew to 40 and you sell then you already make a profit. So, the idea is to by some more when the price drops lower than your average purchase price and is stabilized in some reasonable time frame. Thus your average purchase price gets lower. You need to keep the track of all your trades to always know your average purchase price.

Again, this is just one principle and I might be missing something important, so take it with criticism.

Profit with 2.2Mh/s

GRA, $8~10
LTC, $15~16
DOGE, $22~25

$8~10 is not bad number, becasue of many coins are similar,
Just high profitable coins (such as DOGE) has pretty big number,

Have a nice day

Good point.

The future of the coin to some extent depends on miners and DEV. For instance: Astrocoin. Could be a nice one but miners saw things short-minded(idk if its the correct word, im trying to say they chose quick money over much bigger amounts in the long run). I dont want to talk about another coin here so i dont want to get into detail about their mistakes. I think miners shouldnt undermine their coins such as selling it too low etc. I believe this will not be the case with Grain. This coin is quite young as you said, and it deserves time.

Hope everything works well for us. Good luck y'all. Smiley

It all depends on how you look at it. If you want to mine & instadump then sure DOGE (in your example) is the coin to mine. But if you consider graincoin may be worth 5 times as much in a week now because its hit cryptsy, then in reality its worth $50/day.

Quite a nice way of looking at it. I follow certain buying rules as well, and I also have a "get out" figure in mind for a lot of coins, depending on how high I think that coin's potential is. As far as Grain is concerned, it's a long way off its potential value, so I will continue to hold onto my stake.

Grain is just going through a quiet patch due to all the excitement around new coins. It happens to any established coin. Once those new coins have been dumped on exchanges and the price goes down, they'll come back to coins they trust and know. So I'm not overly concerned. If anything it's simply an opportunity for me to obtain more Grain until we're back up again.
