Hey Chums,

Been mining GRAIN off and on since day one. I've been around the ALT and BTC for a long time, I just never registered at the forums but GRAIN is actually the whole reason I finally decided to lob in. LTC didn't even do that. I've been following since day 1, and kudos to bosian to fixing the issues quickly and keeping everyone happy with giveaways and updates. I missed out on the support give away by not being a forum member, but no matter because I was there right with you guys watching and refreshing. Waiting to see if bosian would come through. Props also to Jollyburner and bee7. Smiley

Well, just letting you devs know I had a bit of a bingle. Just after the POS split, when everything came back online I jumped in and torqued a whole bunch of blocks. Only thing was when I mined them I did it on a copy of the new wallet because the machine that had my GRAIN wallet on it wasn't with me... and... the idiot part is that I overwrote the wallet once I had sent the coins out of the wallet. Never thought I would need that address again. hahaha. Pulled a donger on that. Live and you learn right?

I believe it's everything that went:
93wWUn932xvqZMmv51kRHE6ibrMmMPx3aA

The second address of the other wallet that everything was emptied to is:
96NHs5GSngVA4Nb5fZEygHJusNRXtnvUqM

You can see that in the block explorer.

Just wanted to let you know, if you are running through and sending out missing POS or block awards DON'T send anything to that address.
That wallet is EMPTY (check the block explorer) and it will go into a black hole never to be seen again!

I purchased a bunch of DOGE/GRAIN on coined in an effort to float the prices in an upward direction and then sent them to my wallet so that I could get the POS. It's a GREAT incentive for me to keep them.

Thanks again for building a GREAT coin mate. I have the most faith in this one for the long haul of any the other ones I have mined lately... and I like to hold... not dump.

I am doing solo mining on GRA, and the following addresses belong to me:

952tV5x8oBrtJZ7GTGcLusufubBp4y92LL  received 50k
9Pq9M7uudhPUT2ABioVK85Dzja3hfgX35F recieved 15k
9Rtmx2QcN9Sgv6ogpwBN2XWMMq3m6vgfD7 recieved 10k

I was curious that why someone send me these GRA coins, and then find this post by searching my address.

Thanks for the coin. If there is anything I can do for the GRA community, please just let me know.

I received 35k, myself.  Smiley

I believe it's part of a compensation scheme due to the large swings in difficulty caused by PoS block generation. I will continue to show my support for Grain and keep mining.

Ah, thanks Nullu. I see. Yeah, I tried some solo but I didn't get much since I noticed the diff was swinging like crazy so I jumped back on the pool. My hash rate is only bout 190k on the machine that sits and mines GRAIN. I didn't quite get why the extra compensation but it makes sense now. Didn't want to be arsed reading back over the 50 pages or so but guess should have. Wink

The additional payments are going to the addresses that receive the block rewards for the PoW mined block. As these payments are set up only for blocks since block 100000 and will be performed on the daily basis until the next weekend and all payments for blocks up to ~8 hours behind are completed there is almost no risk that we hit some dead address.

Then it will be kind of you to make your pool op to get here as your effort in these tough conditions must also be paid Wink

Just had a little chat with the forkpool op... he is not intressted in doing anything about the extra reward...
so the only way will be to use the round data the pool offers to calculate everyones share... then we would need an address to every user...  Huh

I think we should move our miners... Wink

thats the last thing the op said:

At least could you provide us once with exported shares data and appropriate addresses by the end of next week since the block #100000 if your customers would not be against this?

You can't really expect pool operators to do any more work beyond what it takes to keep the pool working. It's not their job or interest.

It seems like there is a fix ready? Why not just deploy it.

There's hardly anyone mining right now but there's growing interest.

NOW is the best time to do as many forks as you need, to fix things. It shouldn't be too hard to organize enough hash power because of all the people watching this thread.

If you wait til it's on cryptsy or other exchanges to start forking, GRA will die really fast.

If you have to fork it 10 more times, that's fine, but do it sooner than later.

I've started buying up again, expect the price to climb.

Cant. MPOS keep shares for last 3 blocks now.  Undecided
I have transaction history for proportional payouts for each block after pool opened.
But here problem to calculate percent from each block, because different reward.

I think as the last resort this could be a solution if the miners would agree to get the compensation proportional to their payouts during this two-weeks period. Your pool fee will be honored as well Wink

5000 gra for each block? Its right?

Yes, every mined PoW block since block #100000 until the 3x PoS/PoW ratio implemented gets additional payment of 5000 grains. You as a pool operator will get the percentage of this payment according your pool ToS. Also the extra reward for your extra efforts is negotiable.

You know how we can push GRA to coinmarketcap??

Here:
http://coinmarketcap.com

It gets updated every 5 minutes.  Coins with stale datapoints (more than 6 hours old) will be shown at the bottom with question marks, and will be de-listed after 7 days.  Feedback/suggestions welcome.

If you would like to request to add a coin, please fill out the request form.
