There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

still can't get my grain off CoinedUp.

Any other good exchanges that might take GRA?

The major exchanges are checking

 1. more miners : it is the biggest homework for this coin now, we may effort together

 2. more coins over pre mined : the new coins which have mined is not enough, need more time. Even the people just try a new coin and just focus on the short term gain, i wish this coin is for the future,

 3. no pre mining or reasonable usage/distribution : it is a some kind of critical tool to avoid a scam coin who try a hit and run. Anyway, pre-mined coin is around 500M and i believe that many portions are used for the promotion, reward, and bounties for the services. Maybe need to show the records to the exchanges to show the clear operation.

I am mining LTC, and buy this coin at coined up,
at least, my miner will not disturb the other grainer,
at least, i can make it awaken ~

Anyway, just want to believe this coin will be better ^^

Have a nice day

guess everybody loves my wallpaper Smiley,

please update grain logo and website, if ther is still premine pay a webdesigner to do so,I know one i could ask if you want.  for the logo talking out that light grain background would be a quick improvement. same goes for the buttons, i wouldn't put those on my website even if i wantet to accept grain.

bosian can you consider that?, who did the logo and website, are they still part of the dev team?, its important isn't it?

Grain slogan anyone? my proposal:

"The organic crypto"
energy efficient//fast//reliable

The 1.5 release is a good time for a new slogan i think. we need to set grain more apart from the other coins. also can you put "Superblocks" in the thread title. and "best POw/POS design" instead of "New POw/POS coin", that sounds lame

Difficulty was only 0.10 this morning so I just stuck a 4.2Mh/s rig on this coin, 500,000 Grains a day look good reward, will mine for a week and see how it's going.

Another exchange would be good, what about Cryptorush.in ?

Sorry guys but I just had to dump over a million GRA.

This piece of shit exchange COINEDUP won't give me my money.

I've sent in tickets, they ignored them.

I posted on their subreddit, they deleted it!

I made a thread here complaining about how bad coinedup is and they sent me a message within 3 minutes saying they would fix it.

I gave them a chance but they continue to fuck me. It's been over a week and they wouldn't give me my money.

I want to buy grain, I didn't want to dump but CoinedUp insists on stealing.

Everywhere it says "failed" the GRA simply disappeared from my account.

AVOID COINEDUP AT ALL COSTS

So we can blame coinedup for killing the price of grain then?

Can we get grain on Poloniex?

ich schau mal rein Wink, was hältst du von meinen vorschlägen?

guys am i the only one who thinks the logo and buttons need at least a little facelift?
how about a slogan contest? how much premine left for a bounty? this could attract new people and give some attention.

bosian you have to decide. come on at least some feedback please Smiley

I'm thinking of doing a Million Grain Giveaway.

Any Idea of the best most effective way to bring more people to grain through this giveaway.

Any Idea of the best most effective way to bring more people to grain through this giveaway.

Little bit risky, if they dump the easy gains, it will mess up again.
Actually, more pro-active working and discussion in this forum, is better.

(1) why miner do not interest on this coin Huh

There are so many similar coins,
And,miner just consider the profitability first,
Even we agree or not, it is the reality.
Even LiteCoin also under the influence.

At 1.5, the hacker's selective mining will be blocked,
It means the current miner will get 20-30% more coins with in same time.
But,  it is not enough to catch the similar level with LTC.

How we can suggest this coin to the others ?
We may need a reason why have to mine this coin.
What reason we can give to them ?

Difficult,
So, difficult.

Anyway, it will takes a time to get one more chance,
At least, 1000M GRA should be mined

Have a nice day

I am but a small miner, but I just thought I'd throw in my two cents as to how I even came to discover Grain.

I wish I remembered what it was I was searching for, but I found the YouTube video seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8SSt-C8RmE

The features of the coin attracted me.  I'm no video maker, but perhaps for those of you who are, a little video marketing goes a long way!
