Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

ahahahahahahahahahhahahahhahaha

hahjahahahah

ahahahahhaahahah

hahahahaha

thanks made my night.

i mine doge, but seriously.

back to discussing the most interesting cryptocurrency in the world.
CryptoCash is actually pretty interesting compared to most new alts - technically speaking at least. Still nothing beats Doge and its rabbid mob of crazy reddit posts!

hmm... had same issues just 10h ago... twitted to @cryptsy and got now answer so far. And btw I think they'd better announce "some maintenance" (if it's really what it was) on site somehow - they don't make me very happy going down suddenly right at the time I placed my order.

but anyway I just hope they'll fix all the problems

EDIT: aaaaaaand .... it's down again  Angry Angry Angry

http://imageshack.com/a/img594/2128/qpx6.png
In one and a half hour I made only this http://imageshack.com/a/img703/6903/9uvl.png but why does it show payment from only 2 blocks ?

My .bat is cudaminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://stratum.netcodepool.org:4093 -O [my id].[my worker]:[worker pw]
I also get a lot of Disconnecting stratum connection...

Yes you are mining. Your pool found 2 blocks since you've been mining and you were paid your share of those blocks.

Seeing "Stratum found a new block" is your miner communicating with the network, and the network said "Someone found the last block, start hashing for the next one." it does not mean you found a block.

Disconnects are from you or your pool. You should test a different pool or two and see how it goes.

This also might help http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/wiki/index/mining

Another Yahoo article about Dogecoin:

"Dogecoin to the rescue again! The online Reddit community of r/Dogecoin has once again banded together to help send an athlete to Sochi for the Olympic games. Last week it was the Jamaican bobsled team, and this week it is Indian luger Shiva Keshavan - though Shiva's story has a twist, and an even better ending."

http://shine.yahoo.com/ellen-good-news/internet-helps-indian-athlete-sochi-athlete-pays-forward-165400571.html

Shiva didn't need all the Dogecoin we gave him so he is giving them to http://doge4kids.org/.

We are almost done that campaign btw, the latest post on it is here:
