Remember guys there is going to be 100 billion coins produced so prices can never get too high.
Remember guys the total number of coins produced has absolutely nothing to do with prices. I'm afraid you are wrong. How does a larger supply not affect the price? Currently 720 million dogecoins are being added to the market everyday.

How does a larger supply not affect the price? the currency is divisible, just like bitcoin, litecoin, etc. etc. all divisible to 8 decimal places. nothing stops the dogecoin slipping to half its price, even if we were to double the total number to 200billion. the number of coins has nothing to do with the price. bitcoin dropped by 50% in a month, and it had nothing to do with the supply of bitcoin. only the demand.

No, if there was less supply of DOGE, they would be worth more each. Perhaps the market cap would be the same. Look at BitBar and CGB as examples.

hey, there will be never LESS DOGE. i'm making hundreds of thousands per hour. everyone is. are you actually trying to apply the economics of scarcity to a currency that you can make in your basement? this is less work than collecting seashells on the beach. sorry, never be a lack of doge to drive prices up due to scarcity.

give me a scenario where the total number of doge can be reduced to the point where it drives prices up. then we'll see if you understand what you're talking about.

You making 100's of thousands per hour??? WTF is your hash. If 100billion people all want a few doge coins each wouldnt that make it harder to find? If there are services accepting doge left right and center and people are keeping it to actually spend on items instead of just trading it like sheep wouldnt that also make it harder to lay your hands on? Its not hard to find right now sure - but it may well be at some point.

Currently 720 million dogecoins are being added to the market everyday. Yeah, but if you think that current US GDP alone is nearly $18,000,000,000,000, never mind the rest of the world(71,8). Maximum amount of DOGEs will ever be only 100,000,000,000. So if you keep that in mind, it's easily possible that 1 DOGE will be $1 someday.

Any coin with a market cap as small as IFC has its legs spread for a pump and dump. this includes dogecoin right now. cryptomarket manipulation with no recourse is what everyone will be talking about.

Dogecoin has no dev team either to improve it and relies totally on the community to keep going. awesome. i'll see you at the next commune meeting as we figure out what type of friendship bracelet we should sell at the next farmer's market. what does 'relies totally on the community' have to do with a discussion about scarcity driving the price of dogecoins up? is it 'purer' somehow, and therefore more intrinsically valuable than any other currency? i just made 3900 more dogecoins while we were typing, so there's less scarcity now than when we started talking.
