The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I'm trading some DOGE; so, a fun thing occured - while it was at around 50, someone came in (at cryptsy) and put in 140 BTC (WOW) buy @ 60. Then after a while it all came back. Now, is there any meaning to this? Could this DOGE go to 55+ stable this weekend? Why would anyone buy 140BTC at 60 if the market price was 50? Confusion!

Nice read, however at $1.00 per coin the market cap would be 25 billion with the current numbers. More than bitcoin by 2x, I need to buy some moon boots.

I can see that.

Even if DOGE goes to $0.50 giving it a cap of around $12b is not unrealistic. 2014 is going to see some amazing developments in the crypto world.

I dont know which realm you are living in but your theory is beyond teenagers wildest wet dreams. Surely you must know that if you have any idea how financial markets work. 0.5$ per DOGE would make me and several hundred of other DOGE holders a multimillionaires. Jackpot for everyone? Yeah right...

I made a chart on Dogecoin creation. This may aid you in your decisions. After 1 January 2015 (or actually: as from Q3 2014), mining Doge will be less and less less about coins and more about fees. Donate: D9p6FZQb1sKkq9hApy4tnjSduYfdnc74bb

Hi Shibes, I'm a new poster arround here, lurking for quite some time, I've been mining a few days now, was terrified by the thought that I'll have to wait a month and a half for a price rise (if I can't recover the cost of the mining rig my wife would kill me Now to be honest I don't know how long this bubble will last, or how high it would get. Maybe someone with a little more knowledge will share some light, how come that even though multipools are still all over the doge the price is going up? Has any new service just been started? Why such interest in buying at 50+ satoshi? My humble opinion is that it will go down again in 2-3 days at most, down at 20-25 satoshi, maybe lower by the end of the month. The real increase in price shall come later, at the beginning of March and at a much slower rate. PS. Excuse my English as it's not my first language. in all exchanges, the market anticipates ALWAYS news. Need not reach the 100000 block, so that they begin to see an improvement in the price
