When the pool finds a block you are payed according to the shares you submitted before the block was found.  English is not my 1. language so IDK if that was a clear enough explanation. This is better; http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php?topic=5138.0

So how do you see how many "confirmations" there are?  It still looks like mine is sitting at 1 since it at least shows up now.  I'm officially quitting Dogecoin.  This is just stupid.  At least I gave it a good chance.
