Finally the network hash rate is responding (dropping) as some miners switch to mining other coins.
Normally the network hash rate is around 113Gh/s but now it is only 71Gh/s
Difficulty is now *below* 1000 again
and this will partly compensate for lower rewards (higher share per miner).
Still, the supply will stay reduced, so price will have upward pressure!
Go Doge, go!

Edit: Hash rate fell further, now just under 50 Gh/s.
Expected new difficulty (in 4 hours, it just switched) under 700!

Im new to dogecoin and after pool mining for a day i was very confused about share difficulty vs network difficulty. My accepted shares were much higher than the network difficulty of 1.7K yet i hadnt found any blocks for the pool. So i figured i would try an hour of solo mining to help understand what was really going on here.

So if im seeing this correctly, whoever is finding the blocks is getting a best share of over 112M?

Correct - the 112M is the real diff (actually 78.3M at the time of this post.)

1) Wait for price drop and buy more doge

This is the end of the DOGE, once the reward halves no one will have a reason to mine it.

Doge is going against  BTC price so if BTC tanks is doge going to tank too. We might just break out from the shadow of BTC, another possibility and is all coming down to popularity and guess what we have a big and very strong community.

Mind telling me why will people mine DOGE instead of other coin if other coins are more profitable?

Don't you read the news, Doge is the most talked about crypto. We got the biggest community and our efforts will give Doge it's value in the long run.  BTC is now being controlled by the Top people (MtGox) look what they are doing, to me is clearly currency manipulation. They do it we can too. We got to keep pushing, donating and keep Doge in everyone's mouth

And doge is not controlled by anybody... lols.....
And what's funny , after you attack mt gox for controlling btc like it's a bad thing thing you say that we should do it also

Because it is NOT going to the moon! Not anytime soon, not even later...Because? The market is being manipulated, just like LTC and BTC. Just take a look at the huge sell walls on Cryptsy, from 270 and up, every 2-3 cents up, there is a huge wall. All there just to keep the price from rising. All miners are being played, all daytraders are being played. I am stunned that no one wants to believe that.

Just recap on recent events, Doge being pulled of Cryptsy a couple of times, the drop the last couple of hours to 245, only for the whales (Chinese) to get 10% profit over you backs in the last 3-4 hours. And it is NOT moving past 300. Seriously...

Yeah , everybody is being played , they don't want to the price of doge to go up , even though they know it will go up , and have lots of doge that will make them rich )). With all this they are being manipulated into becoming poor shibes with empty wallets ))

Bitcoin is burden for all the alts. Doge must break the chains of bitcoin, because I think DOGE can hold the ground on it's own now. More Doge/Fiat exchanges we get, the chains of bitcoin will disappear.  

How about first you should stop using the bitcoin protocol .
Alt coins breaking out of bitcoin is like windows xp becoming a product of Apple.
