Is emercoin really involved in the project?
Yep! If so why nodoby is talking about it here?
I do not know. Have you told anyone about this?

Speaking strictly of Polybius, you can't call it a scam without providing some evidence. The onus of proof is on you, the accuser.

I see no evidence of Polybius being a scam in that thread.

I see no evidence of Polybius being a scam in that thread. Of course you don't, because one of your "team" is behind it as you well know: Scroll down and you'll notice a familiar name involved in that scam again: Oleg Khovayko (aka: maxihatop) Blockchain CTO, Emercoin https://github.com/maxihatopHe's also involved in the Chronobank ICO.........a lot of people are gonna lose a lot of money. Hashcoins=Hashflare=emercoin=chronobank=Polybius=scam. Are you some kind of official spokesman for Oleg or one of his many alts?

@IconFirm
You have no proof to back your accusation of Polybius being a scam, otherwise you'd have presented it.
No I am not a spokesman for Oleg, I'm a spokesman for logic and reason. You on the other hand come here just to spread FUD against Emercoin with no impact.
Oleg does not operate any alts (unlike yourself apparently), in fact he barely uses this forum. That is all.

Right. So you think that it's logical & reasonable to advertise, promote, endorse, defend & link to a proven scam company like hashcoins on your website & your thread then. Got it. You have no proof to back your accusation of Polybius being a scam, otherwise you'd have presented it.
The proof is on their website, it presents itself. https://polybius.io/#teamThat polybius "Team" are the same hashcoins "Team" who scammed customers for 1000's selling vapourware. Guess who's also on that list - good old Oleg Khovayko Blockchain CTO, Emercoin. He crops up quite a lot actually, along with a few other recognisable Hashcoins/Hashflare/Chronobank/Emercoin/Polybius profiles. Of course, Emercoin & Polybius are also advertised by these Hashcoins scammers, & it's no surprise that Polybius advertise Emercoin & Hashcoins also - is that some back scratching or because it's the same people I wonder.... Let's break it down & make it easier for you, open the following web pages in different tabs: https://www.hashcoins.com/managementhttps://hashflare.io/team/https://polybius.io/#teamhttps://emercoin.com/teamApart from the obvious similarities in the website layouts, the same profiles crop up over & over again on each site, proving that the same people are behind them. This is not "FUD" as you call it - it is fact & it is displayed on the websites for all to see. Oh, and who's involved with all of them? You guessed it - Emercoin dev Oleg Khovayko. Don't even think about denying it - it's there for all to see.

No, some people just enjoy wearing their tin foil hats a little too much.

Iconfirm, I can say that I've helped the Emercoin project with their current website design and have had no connection with the design or maintenance of the Hashcoin sites, nor any direct financial interest in them. From my standpoint I understand Hashcoins and Polybius intend to use Emercoin's blockchain services, which are available to everyone as an open source project that anyone can freely use or contribute towards.
I believe that the Emercoin services, many designed by Maxihatop, and the opensource nature of them are genuinely innovative, and beneficial experiments - and that is why I support the Emercoin project.
From the information available I understand that some of the Emercoin devs are involved in the Polybius ICO (Fixx as an escrow partner, and Maxihatop as an advisor). Personally, I do not plan to invest in the Polybius ICO (too many ICO lately for my liking) but see no reason why Polybius should not proceed with their stated ambitions.
What is your problem with Hashcoins exactly? Did they take your money or fail to deliver a product you purchased without offering a refund? You have been upset about this for a while so I wouldn't mind understanding exactly what your issue is, especially in relation to Emercoin, in clear terms. Discuss with me by PM if you prefer.

No, some people just enjoy wearing their tin foil hats a little too much. Is that the best reply you could come up with? You ask for evidence - I supplied it. You ask for proof - I supplied it. You ask for facts - I supplied them. Everything I've posted is freely available for everyone to see & is 100% verifiable, yet you continue to spout either lies, denial or "FUD tinfoil hat" type remarks. I guess that's your logic & reason kicking in again. What is your problem with Hashcoins exactly? Did they take your money or fail to deliver a product you purchased without offering a refund?
I close friend & good client of mine was ripped off by HashCoins, along with 100's of others. The only refunds Hashcoins offered a very limited few of their customers was a useless ponzi mining contract with Hashflare - who are the very same people who ripped them off in the first place. So yes, I and many others are very upset with HashCoins for what they done & I will do everything I can to make sure that they don't rip anyone else off. Any entity or "Team" who chooses to associate themselves with a "company" that lies, steals & scams so many people & continues to do so should expect to get some questions asked of them & their reasons why. If they choose to try & lie about their association with them it only create more suspicion, resulting in more questions. Lying to & insulting people who ask questions adds fuel to the fire & means that they are trying to hide something, but when the info is already in the public domain that's pretty difficult, as in this case.

I'm not hiding anything. I can understand if you've been personally affected by a situation like this that you'd be angry.
Have you tried contacting Sergei of Hashcoins directly about the situation?
I don't care what other association you see - Emercoin and Hashcoins are not the same team, not the same people, not the same entity, and never will be.

Thanks for letting the thread know about this interview. I find myself agreeing with Junseth's skepticism as usual - I think it is very healthy thing to have. But there are also some great points made by the guy from EY. I liked that he acknowledged that it's extremely ambitious but if no-one takes a risk then nothing will ever change. This is a valuable and level-headed discussion, and I look forward to the follow-up in 6 months.
