Hmm, tried restarting the client? You might've gotten a bit unlucky and only connected to nodes running the old version (which doesn't pass along the new-rules blocks).

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Ohhhh now that you mention it, I may have still been running the old client when I started the new one. Oh well, I'll have to check when I get home. I blame it on Monday.

Okay it appears my old wallet with 50 i0coins does not seem to confirm with the block chain. But when I create a diff i0coin address with same wallet file in the folder and run the my miners on it it confirms.
Any ideas?

You old wallet does not confirm? what does that mean? If it's a send stuck at 0/unconfirmed it should confirm eventually. If it's a receive stuck at 0/unconfirmed... it'll probably be stuck at 0/unconfirmed until the user that sent it upgrades (detailed reason: a client will only resend a transaction after it has seen a new block not containing the tx. old clients don't see any new blocks -> they won't resend tx.)

Now, do we bother with merged mining?
I think it's a smart way to introduce i0coin to the Bitcoin community. Why? If 1 or 2 pools start merged mining, I will go to those pools because of the bonus of extra income. If I go to those pools, other pools will have to implement merged mining to keep up and don't lose miners. More people = more speculators = higher value But there may be reasons not to?

Ehm, I think max 10% up every 144 blocks or x hours and max 75% down every 144 blocks or x hours. Not sure...

I was wondering how would one start solo mining ?
Put the following line in a batch file (or use the settings for guiminer): start /D "C:\poclbm" poclbm.exe user:password@127.0.0.1:7332 -d0 -v -f 0 -w 256 (where 127.0.0.1 should be changed to the IP where the client runs) Also put a i0coin.conf in: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\I0coin The i0coin.conf should look like this: rpcuser=user rpcpassword=password server=1 rpcallowip=192.168.0.*
The line with "rcpallowip" is the IP range (or seperate IP's) you want to allow to connect to your rig. Don't forget the line, or it will only accept mining on localhost. Then (re-)start the i0client and point your miner to it I found a block with my 5770 after 2 hours and now the second after 11 minutes. I have 2950Mhash/s pointed at the pool but wanted to use my 5770 for solo mining Just for fun...

I found like 18 blocks but only got like 525 coins. DoubleC are we missing something here? I've got 4 GH/s pointed at your pool and there is no way myself and moustpotato are creating blocks at that rate and not getting our proper shares.
