Hey guys,

New lottocoin pool up

http://lot.united-miners.com

- HTTPS Protocol (doing it now)
- Stratum
- VARDIFF
- PPNLS
- 1% Fee
- DDOS Protection
- Stable Dedicated Servers with split Backend, Database, and Frontend
- IRC Channel on Freenode #united-miners with an upcoming community

Found our first 2 blocks so far, could really do with some increased hash, we got some excellent servers Smiley

Hoping to get some more hashrate Smiley.

I actually think we need less pools, we need less big miners. They're just auto-selling and ruining the market :/
The difficulty has to increase by like 200% before the price will rise and stabilize.

2000 LOT reward for voting, we are starting to lose ground to the earthcoin hippies.

Be sure to read the task.

See here: http://lottocointalk.org/index.php?topic=81.0
The problem is

eac has more fanboys, because the crew was giving 30-100k per person like 2 weeks ago, if I remember right.
They want eac hit those exchanges, so they dump in people's faces.

I bought a ton of LOT with my own BTC, just to support it. I see it going up. I'm not going to ''dump'' it. I've always believed in long term holding.

So, spread the giveaways, we can beat copycat eac fanboys who copy us on their forum.

Hey, smexy. Don't waste your time. Time's precious.

Quick Start

Start with registering on our pool & creating workers for your computers. You can use our automated config generator in our workers page and download pre-configured files for your mining software.

EU Stratum Server: stratum+tcp://eu.coinum.org:3337
US Stratum Server: stratum+tcp://us.coinum.org:3337

CGMiner Configuration

Here is sample CGMiner configurations with fail-over support. Given that the stratum server you use fails, your miner software will continue to work with out other stratum server.
Note: You have to change WORKER and PASS with your actual worker-name and worker-password values you get from workers page.

EU
Code:
./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://eu.coinium.org:3337 -u WORKER -p PASS --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://us.coinium.org:3337 -u WORKER -p PASS --scrypt -I 13

US
Code:
./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://us.coinium.org:3337 -u WORKER -p PASS --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://eu.coinium.org:3337 -u WORKER -p PASS --scrypt -I 13

Features

  • Our network - We already operate first class & high performance pools, check our other pools over http://www.coinium.org

  • Fail-over config support - In case that the stratum server you use fails, your miner will just continue to mine with our secondary stratum server.
  • VARDIFF enabled - Our stratum servers will shift your work difficulty based on your hash-rate automatically.
  • DDOS Protected - Our servers are DDOS protected 7x24!
  • Automated backups - We get automated backups of our system.
  • Automatic payments - You can set automatic payments if you like to.
  • Fast confirmations - We are quickly processing your transactions once newly found blocks are confirmed.

Has anyone made any IAB standard size display ads for LottoCoin?  How to reach the masses... the folks into the lottery and gambling who might not be tech savvy, but would install and run a LottoCoin wallet with solo mining turned on.  The potential market for LottoCoin is ginormous.  Running adwords ads might be problematic with gambling keywords.  Facebook ads might be worthwhile if you sent people to a special tab on the Facebook page that is a LottoCoin 101 for dummies.  Make a preconfigured .conf file for a pool, and a batch file to install it.  Or an installer around the Windows wallet that sets it up.  They would have to go create an account on a pool website though, which might break the idiot-proofing.  Put a clickable link or button in the wallet "Click here to buy LottoCoins on Cryptsy".  Put a share button they can click in the wallet to share it on Facebook.  Make it stupid simple, and market it right, and you can probably get a million installs.  Put it up on Downloads.com etc.  Demand generation....

Good news, LOT now can be traded at this Chinese site: http://www.guogao.com/trade/LOT/ (A new and small site, but still not bad, right?)

Interesting... 1000 LOT is going for about 1.258 Yuan.. or 0.20/usd

we get around 0.15

Ugh, does anybody speak chinese? I transfered a little bit over there because of the arbitrage opportunity (which worked just fine), but when I try to withdraw it keeps telling me that my withdrawl password isn't right. At least according to google translate.

Edit: Nevermind. For some reason the password line was removed from the withdrawl page. The developer probably noticed that I failed at it so many times and took pity on me.  Cheesy

They're in yuan. The price is basically ~28 satoshi each when you go from lotto -> yuan -> btc. Unfortunatly there's basically zero btc orders on that site so you can't really get it out unless you convert to ltc or ppc.

i dont understand the prices there

How come my receive wallet shows this M2Na8oTkh83W3RUcWcd3rKjw6jx49Mt5DN?

But under last transaction on block chain it shows my address as Lv4E5iRuvFkQp3QAiDUScfyFw67GM7htLE ??

I also detected a block last night but it is not showing up in my wallet by says 3 transactions but only 2 show? ANy ideas of what is going on? Thanks guys I have no idea...

-Goodsmash

When solomining it will send to a new address everytime you find a block, but that address is still yours (It get send to your wallet)

You got an orphan. Type 'listtransactions' in debug window.

We need more votes for Coinpayments!!
