It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Heya OM.  Yeah I'm actually working on that right now.  There will be an option to migrate your user information across all pools shortly.

Now you tell me!!  You know how many accounts I have!

LOL it'll still be a while.  And I don't know how I'm going to integrate it.  I have a few ideas, but it's really going to take some master mysql/php foo at this point.

Interesting that when nut2 pool had more than 50% of the net hash rate people were shouting out to switch pools for the good of the coin, including dedicatedpools.  Now dedicated pools has more than 50%, they still want more to join.

If they cared about the coin like they said they did when nut2 had 50%, they would close registrations when their own pool was hashing more than 50%, not try and get even more.

Some of the hypocrisy being posted here is incredible tbh.  And not good for the coin what so ever.

I disagree. I think it's because of supply and demand and perception.
There are fewer Catcoins on the market and currently a strong demand thanks to Catcoins riding the hype wave of Dogecoin. The perception is that they are valuable since there are less of them.

And maybe thats what the dev had in mind when he created the coin. Create fewer coins, ride the doge wave, then pump 'n dump. Still a scam.

~meow~

Would it be wrong to point out no premine on cat?  Perhaps that's why its been picked up so rapidly, what has the creator got to gain from this over and above any other miner?

Early miners on cat have made some nice profits.

So you call out other coins as a scam and being nothing more than pump and dump, then go on a mission to just blatantly pump this one.  How does that help the coin get taken any more seriously than any other?

Wow another person that can't see the wood for the trees.

Read the question I posted, answer it honestly to yourself and then, ask yourself if you think that's the right course of action to improve the coins value.

Now its on coinewarz its only a matter of time until this gets hit with the same smash and grabs from the multipools.  Net has will double, throwing difficulty through the roof and it will get dumped on cryptsy, until its value is pegged down to the same level as any other alt coin that the multipools mine.  And the best solution the brain tram come up with is to just pump threads.  Seriously.

Look at my posts as moaning if you like, refuse to accept the truth if you like, it won't change it.  There have been several posts made on here by others telling you I'm speaking the truth, I have several more in my inbox from regular posters on this thread that agree with me but won't post that they do on here because of the complete hostility toward anyone that questions anything other than the blatant pump action.

Let's see what super ideas are put into practice to avoid the smash and grabs from the multipools.  They killed the value of doge and that had 100x more hype than this coin.  If people dont think that the multipools are more than a few days away from battering this coin too, then they are mistaken.  Though you just stick your fingers in your ears and call me a troll.  That will make this inevitable truth go away.  I'll never see amn apology from a single person that called me a troll when this comes true, just like I never received an apology from the maths genius that couldn't work out how coinbomb worked.  Such is the character of these spiteful holier than thou characters.

Lotto has protection from getting stripmined by multipools, because we have diff retargeting on everyblock.

i am curious abt the retargetin protocol though.. not sure if it was discussed earlier.. but for example in a 24 hour period is lotto sourced to give exact amount of block rewards for example.. 10 instances of 256 lot, 10 instances of 257 lot, 10 of 258 etc?? or is it random with it being possible for all rewards to be 256 lot in 24 hour

This is 1 problem with having a coin that is so popular early on.

But as diff increases value goes up. Some mine and dump, others mine and save. either way, More miners will help the value of the coins you already have. But ofcorse the downside is now we cannot mine as many coins, however remember everyone is having the same mining success as you, and this is why it causes the price to increase.

So this is what getting in early is all about. Those dumping their coins are crazy, but its a great opportunity to buy.

The price now is nothing, this time next year it will be worth at 20x or more

the dif targeting isnt going to stop them mining, but it will prevent them from stripmining, making it less of a target.

Also the coin wont get stuck on high diff. When they leave, dif returns to normal, so really they well get no more coins than anyone else
