Yeah, that's the reason why the price is low too. The miners receive too many coins so they can sell everything they get with a low price, if the reward would half the price would double atleast!

only reason why were below 18 for instance right now is pure manipulation in price (wich is fine btw)
from 0400 till 1600 today the avg amount of volume being traded every 15Min is about 500-750K
then on 1644 a volume of 44Mill is being sold and at 20:00 its being bought bk up with 40M

Garbage maths and mixing lotto with bitcoin.  $704 from 84k/hash ??  Where do I sign, my rigs could do $47,000 a year based on those sums.   Roll Eyes

yea they typed it a little bit wierd but in the end its
that they mined lottocoin with 84k/hash for 2 weeks and sold their lottocoin into Bitcoin for total of 0.029BTC
Would have been more impressive if they did their numbers a week or so earlier when it just hit Craptsy... with 1.4Mh/s over ~6 days I made ~1.1BTC Wink

...was pissed off coz I had another 280X lying around at that point but had been too lazy to put a molex on the riser, needless to say very shortly after that it was all installed an running lol

Hey, here's a simple solution: why not get more pools to jump in?
Any contacts you may have - ask owners to add lot pools, and show them to their users on other pools.
I spotted that circular ads they mostly have - links at sidebar.

With some luck, it may bring hashes to the network, and that may help a LOT Wink

Hate to admit it, but this coin is dead. Not because of subpar development, but because it is an easy target for multipools and its variables (block reward, block time) are too generous.

90M+ coins mined every day.
Already 20% of total coins are in circulation after 1 month, while Feathercoin only 10% after 9 months.

There is no long term perspective at this rate.

Solution:

We create a new fork (halve block rewards, etc). We can't restart the coin, so that's our only obvious choice.
No matter how much promotion, giveaways, how many new games... this coin will stay extremely vulnerable without a fork.

Needs to be done ASAP, or there is no future for LOT.

or you can just mine EAC...

you know, the coin that has not lost most of its value since launch,

is relatively multipool resistant,

has the fastest transaction time of any coin,

has an iphone app being worked on,

has an android up almost finished,

has non-profits accepting it (e.g. save-the-earth),

has an EAC/USD only exchange being worked on

is not associated with gambling, addiction, or LOSS OF MONEY like lotto is,

and is not even on cryptsy yet, but will be added as it has been confirmed by BigVern himself...

but I wish lotto the best. also gamecoin, and casinocoin.

EAC is not better. Huge pump and dump. There's no worthwhile development behind EAC. Professional website, beautiful branding to create artificial value. When it will hit Cryptsy it will be worse than LOT

LOT = 4 confirmations. Faster than you can blink.

Yeah, no business is going to accept 'EarthCoin, the currency of the people'. At least there is some business in gambling, easy acceptance, easy money.

If nobody cared about gambling, lotto wouldn't be the billion $ market  it is today. So yeah, for once I agree with Boomer, fuck off dude

I like EAC and I think it has potential, just the same as LOT, the biggest problem with EAC is the community seems to feel the need to take cheap shots at other coins rather then rising to the top on its own merits. It has also lost about the same amount of value as LOT so I struggle to see how changing would help.

i dont get why EAC miners would go into another coin thread.. and ask miners to mine their coin.. its got nothing to do with being friendly but more along the lines of being an Ass.

EAC hasn't been listed on coinwarz yet.. so its kinda useless to speculate that that they are "profitability-hunter" resistant.
