That's savage. It looks like an impact drill. I know they do some crazy self-mutilation rituals in some places but man, if that tool is what I think it is, (looks like a Makita actually) that's a jackhammer with a spinning drillbit on the end, and would not feel good pressed against your head.

The internet continues to amaze.

(*edit: yes, I am currently hodling.*)

(*edit2: on second look, it looks photoshopped. I would love to see the original if anyone has.)

A bit off topic but here's a video of the guy. He's a famous monk who does this shit and walks away unharmed: http://www.thecollectiveint.com/2013/04/the-legendary-shaolin-mon-drill-his-head.html

I'm a meme in a meme!

you been a meme for a while now bitch

beware, its not all its cracked up to be

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

NEWS:
Bitcoin may have had a rough week, but that’s not scaring Overstock.com away.

The online retailer, which pulls in $1 billion a year, announced on Friday that it plans to accept Bitcoin in the second half of next year. With the move Bitcoin owners will be able to use the currency to buy everyday items like furniture and jewelry, which could ultimately help to get people spending the currency rather than  hoarding HODL it.
