Coin does not work.  I am disabling http://eac.hackshardgaming.net at this time as it doesn't work to begin with.  You can mine on my lottocoin pool @ http://lot.hackshardgaming.net

Doing the same (closing) for http://earthcoin.cryptohashery.com

Block 357 took a long time to find (way way more than 60 seconds) and difficulty still retargeted up. Difficulty retarget formula is obviously borked. I just killed stratum on
the pool so mining ceases but I will leave the pool up and wallet running so people can get their payouts once all the found blocks confirm.

Thanks everyone for hammering our pool! You can mine tr011coins with us at http://tcncoin.cryptohashery.com or Billion at http://bil.cryptohashery.com

Please lower the limit so we can whitdraw all earthcoins

thx!

Done!

Just an fyi I scanned the whole .zip with virus total and got the 2 threats. Though I will say that I have done that before with legit coins and got threats from virus total. Probably fine, just letting people know what I found.

I don't think it's a virus I've tested other wallets that are considered legitimate they generally have the same thing.

The tests that you are doing are meaningless. Virus scans are snake oil at best, especially in the situation. All of the people saying that they are scanning are just noise in this thread.

I'm not saying it is or isn't, but scanning them only means things they've seen before/match heuristics are found, not that they're safe.

You can't by definition find a Virus that is "FUD-crypted". FUD here meaning "fully undetected". Just google "Malware Crypters" or "Virus Crypters" or "fud crypting" to inform your self.

Glad you guys are doing your due diligence. It would be pretty ballsy and brave of a coin to launch a virus like this - no way.

Doing what we can to get this stabilized and out of high diff. Going over code again we just confirmed it's fine no bugs/wrong maths so far - it's simply a much bigger spike than we could have anticipated.

Will have a fix shortly, sincere apologies for the (literal) speed bumps.

Do you really think that it took only 16 seconds to mine 100 blocks? And exactly the same GetBlockTime() call is used here:

Quote
main.cpp:   int64 nActualSpacing = pindexLast->GetBlockTime() - pindexFirst->GetBlockTime();

Are you sure your code calculates the times properly?

It's already launched, broke immediately and there are claims to a potential virus.

It's next to impossible that the network hashrate was even close to what was reported
