I don't understand it. The devs said that this coin is not a "hippie" coin or "tree hugger" coin. They said as much to the chinese. In the end, all the adoptions I've seen so far is either save the jaguars or save the pocket whales or something. There is no market in charity I'm afraid. We can all stay here and wax poetic all day and wait for the next attempted pump but this coin is frustratingly stagnant and the silence of the community is pretty telling.

You can complain about it or do something about it. What have you done to advance the EAC community?

You can complain about it or do something about it. What have you done to advance the EAC community? There's nothing wrong with what he pointed out. A good community is good for a coin, but you can't just rely on the community to do everything right? A big premined coin like this one, the community ain't gonna push the coin to the sky doing all the work while the dev's can just sit and cash in? It might be sad but it is true that charity isn't a top priority...cryptocurrency is still so new, there are far more important markets to adopt than trying to get a lot of big charities to accept EAC. EAC has been pretty silent for a long time and I feel the dev's should keep people updated, regardless if there is progress in development... Staying silent for like a week or two kills a lot of attention to the coin and its hype. The team has said what they're working on is "BIG" and "INNOVATIVE" but won't release any details at all, maybe scared competitors will steal the idea? Every coin is trying to innovate, and if you spend too much time on a "Long Term Project" your coin may not be even relevant by the time big things are done making and getting pushed out... Look at Ethereum, it might be the next big thing. I really feel the need of the dev's to keep everyone updated on development of this coin on a daily basis. The community would be able to help expand the coin better with daily updates knowing whats happening and where things are headed.

You can complain about it or do something about it. What have you done to advance the EAC community? I am doing what I can, where I can. Being antagonistic about what I said will not change the facts. I did not slag off the devs. They are hard workers no doiubt. But the truth is they are going down the path they said they would avoid and that is the whole "save the planet" green shtick. Incase you have not noticed, being green is no longer in vogue. Why would anyone use EAC to buy vegetables? Why would anyone resort to EAC as the go to charity coin when doge is sending athletes to Sochi? If you can't answer those questions yourself then you need to think about the brand you're willing to get in a spat over. I have EAC. That does not mean I'm a complacent zombie not willing to weigh the pros and cons.

Well some of these coins bought votes. 125 BTC satoshi = 1 vote. So anyone willing to pay money can upvote a coin. The question is, how good will the exchange be. Btw, here is another vote for another exchange: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=449473.0And getting EAC on more exchanges is not the goal, I know. But getting them spread to others will also generate the occasional attention. Anyone trading on those exchanges might gain interest in EarthCoin if they see us. Ow, and due to the failing Pump we are now really cheap to buy

In my opinion, it looks pretty promising. I told them I wanted to donate EAC for their project, so they should add an EAC-address for donations.

This coin is dead as shit. "Flagship" coin blablabla.
It looks like the more blablabla a coin or dev has, the more shit it is. Nice coordinated scam guys, in 6 months you're gone.

Hehe, if you only knew... We had a failed Pump so we are cheap right now, but how long that will last... You'll see Sellorders are building up, 147 btc to eac/btc 250 now. One of these days a well known asian investor will buy them quickly, I think. Actually I don't mind when we go to 100 sat again, couple more cheap coins is nice as well.

When I see some coins going 10x or even more I tend to ask myself, "why?". Off course as an earlier investor such profits are like a dream in such a short period. But it normally means that the price will drop at about the same speed. So i'd rather have more time setting up all the goodies for EarthCoin and let the market decide than some group of investors looking to make a quick buck. (and yes, I would not mind making a quick buck. But i'll pick another coin for that )

Where to mine? I didn't find any good pool (thus network hashrate is 2GHs, pool with max speed if found was 50Mhs).

Ow, and just because it is happening right now: A lot of banks are under investigation because of gold and currency trading fraude. If you keep in mind that they only have about 1:33 of their outstanding loans sitting in fiat or assets, we might be in for some new problems: If they get fined and also have a bad market due to the news, they might not be able to live up to their promisses and.... well knock on the governments doors for more money to save them.
Let's hope this will not happen...

Let it happen, it's gonna happen sooner or later anyway. Maybe a little bit more extra time is needed to get the crypto's more known to the public and wider accepted.
