If you donate 10 BTC (which pays for about a month of hosting), you get donator status:   If you donate 50 BTC, you get VIP status, which allows you to set a custom title:    This is not (yet) automatic: you need to PM me before donating. See the new donation page for more details. This is part of an effort to make the forum self-sustaining. If donations alone are not enough, a few auctioned-off text ads will probably be added. No. I'm mad they go there and delete on topic posts and flood the forum with insults. Also it is only 2 or 3 mods that are making it an issue. Most mods are doing a fine job all over the forum. Most of your posts are pretty solid but the recent ones in this threads are shocking. Anyone who is a mod should understand the word "only" and even if you use your fingers and count the number of people posting in that thread you will find you will run out of fingers before you stop counting names. My 6 year old knows what "only" means and can count way over 10... You can try to make me look silly but doing things like saying only a few people care, or "only" is semantics... That is a lame way to try and win. Theymos clearly said "only" VIP and donators get in that forum, however that is not true. I want him to correct the issue ASAP. Posting about it in the donators sub forum seemed better than meta or the scammer section but maybe I was wrong... So the semantics comment was wrong, but I stand by it's only you and one or two other donators causing the stink about this. |

I can count a lot more donators/VIPs that consider donators forums only for donators. It's pretty clear. The staff has no justification to access a private forum for donators and VIPs. |

Does it's possible to donate in multiple part ?
For example, 5 BTC right now, and 5 BTC later for the 10 BTC total of "Donator" rank. (Same question for the VIP)
And does if a "Donator" want to get "VIP" he just have to send 40 BTC more, or he have to repay 50 BTC in total ?
