EDIT: Well i guess thats it for me here. I mean i have been waiting for a game for  quite some time, the ring games are empty and the SnGs as well.

Any chance of adding 2 factor authentication? I don't feel comfortable having large amounts of bitcoin on the site without it.

Currently we have a manual form of two factor authentication presently in place.  When you submit a withdrawal request you will receive an email that you must confirm the withdrawal.  Therefore, two factor authentication is in place.  We are working on automating this with a link that will instantly send the btc, however player funds security is extremely important and if we need to delay a withdrawal slightly to confirm it then that is what we will do.

While I like the confirmation for withdrawals that doesn't help if someone logs into my account and dumps chips to another player.  I have a secure password but the extra security of two factor authentication to log in would make it even better.

Ticket for "Sunday 1 BTC GTD Satellite - 1 Seat GTD" are not working for me: its status displays "announced" last days but that tourney is always in registration phase (it is a O"On demand" one and start once 7 players are registered).


This way I can't take any action and it is useless.

This tournament will return, however it was running against the big 150 BTC ($100,000) GTD tourney and had no chance of success, therefore it was removed for now.  We stated this earlier in the thread as well.

Transfers over a certain amount must be manually approved and we have yet to have an issue of chip dumps to another player.  Security is of paramount importance at Betcoin.  If someone were to know your password to Betcoin is the only way they could transfer chips and then they would also have to get past our manual review and then know your email password to confirm the transaction.  This environment is highly secure.

Just a quick update guys...no need to panic because we are working with our partner to add more options, bigger options, etc.  We have another big announcement coming today and we are very excited about it.

My question had nothing to do with transfers.  Take the following example...

- Someone gets a hold of my password and logs into my account
- They play a friend heads up and intentionally lose chips to them.
- The friend then cashes out and goes through your manual approval process.  Nothing would look suspicious.
- By the time I realize my money is gone it is too late to do anything because it has already been withdrawn.

look, what he is saying is that once your account gets hacked, ie pw stolen via keylogger, virus, brute force, they can easily dump the chips to another account and than cash out that way.  So best thing to do is get 2FA.
