There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Some feedback and questions:

1) The mBTC units are much better. And obviously less confusing.

2) When one player sits out in a 3-handed cash game, it appears that one of the remaining players can get the button two times in a row. Can you please look in to it?

3) Most of the satellite tournaments are actually sub-satellites and it's not always clear what seat you're actually trying to win, in my opinion. I would love to have a feature where you simply could click a link within satellite lobby, which leads to the "upper-level" tournament lobby. Pokerstars does that, for instance, and it's  actually really helpful.

4) The million dollar tournament in December is obviously a rather big deal. What would happen if one of your players actually took down the tournament? Are your site able to pay out 330 BTC to a single player? Can you somehow proove that you're good for it? I'm assuming that money moves around between the skins on the network. Can you tell us anything about how that process works?

5) December is a long time from now. $1M could be worth 500 or 3000 BTC by then. Is it really wise to promote the tournament as "1,500 BTC GTD" at this stage? Or are you still guaranteeing the 1500 BTC prizepool, even if the prize per BTC is $3,500 in December?

We certainly appreciate your feedback.

1.  Very good to hear and we wanted to make sure that this was easily understood.

2.  We are looking into this now.

3.  You are right on point and we certainly understand and are working on the programming for this.  We have enabled a player to simply play a few ring games, and then play two satellites to win a seat into the big Millions tourney but we certainly want to make everything clear and understand your points precisely.

4.  We are certainly able to pay out 330 btc / ($200,000) to a player right now if we needed to and yes the shared tournament winnings come from the deep backing of the WPN.  We hope that one of our players wins.  This would be fantastic for our players and serve as exceptional promotional material for us and bitcoin.  There has never been a tournament in the history of the WPN that hasn't paid out a winner.

5.  We haven't been asked this question yet, but the tournament is a $1,000,000 GTD tournament and whatever the BTC amount is at that time it will always be $1,000,000 guaranteed.  This GTD amount will not fluctuate with the bitcoin price.  Though we believe bitcoin will be worth more than it is now, you don't point out if a bitcoin is worth less because that works against your point.  Even if a bitcoin is worth $10 when the tournament is complete, this tournament will still be $1,000,000 GTD and the winner will receive $200,000 worth of bitcoins.

It is truly a remarkable opportunity for our players and we hope that one of our players wins and immediately becomes a sponsored player with the gear and other big benefits we are putting together now.  Thank you.

Sorry if this is repeating questions I've asked before, but I'm still a bit confused about the process and I'd like to be less so before I start using my tickets. It looks like the daily satellites are not automatically registering winners into the weekly - for instance there's nobody registered for this week's weekly now, despite several days of the daily running. If I win a daily do I get a ticket that I can use for any weekly? Saturdays are often difficult for me schedule-wise, for instance I sadly can't play this week, so I'm not sure if I should be playing the dailys now or waiting for a week when I can play the weekly.

Similarly, if they are ticketed, what will happen to extra tickets for these after the Million? Given the number of players playing the dailys I can certainly imagine winning more than one per week on average.

Thank you for your answers. Well, I most certainly beleive I did point that out. But let's try again. We both agree on that bitcoins most probably will be worth more in December, but that is beside the point. There are three possible outcomes:

1) The price of a bitcoin is hovering just around $600 in December. You nailed it, and can't be accused of making false promises. [Very unlikely]

2) The price of bitcoin is worth less than $600 in December. The prizepool, in terms of bitcoins, is actually bigger and you need to adjust the promoted prizepool. [Much more likely]

3) The price of a bitcoin is worth more than $600 in December. Once again you need to adjust the prizepool, but downward. [Much more likely]

Essentially you are not guaranteeing the 1,500BTC prizepool, and you shouldn't promote it that way. That is my point.

Please feel free to ask questions anytime.  The daily satellites for the Millions Satty are not automatically registering winners because the registration opens hours before the tournament starts and this decreases inactive players by having them go through a ticket close to tournament time.  Yes, a daily win will work for any weekly.  Extra tickets will be paid out at the commensurate value or used for a new promotion.

You are precisely on point and we certainly don't want to confuse anyone.  We can call it the $1,000,000 currently 1,664 BTC GTD Millions tourney, the currently 1,664 BTC always $1,000,000 GTD Millions tourney or some derivation thereof, but most people get it.  $1,000,000 is guaranteed with $200,000 going to first place.  Whatever the btc amount is at that time is what the winners will receive.  Any suggestions?

Just skip the part about guaranteed BTCs, just call it the "$1m guaranteed". It's especially true for this particular tournament but I think you should stick with this policy for the rest of the tournaments also.

I'm not trying to be a smart-ass here, I'm just trying to help you out. Both players and you, the house, can get into alot of ugly spots and arguments if people start referring to these guaranteed BTC prizepools. Think about it.

We don't take it as being a smartass at all and we appreciate it.  We want to have BTC in the title as well because that's what they will be receiving btc, therefore we are asking what your thoughts are regarding the best way to communicate this because it is a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000 paid out in btc.

most of my tickets are gone, what happened?

?

The program has changed dramatically with the shared tournaments.  We will be providing more updates very soon, however tickets now are based on ring game hands played and minutes seated.

lol and? wheres my tickets i earned from before?

same here....to be honest don't like it at all.

I understand promo now are changed, but I earned those tickets when old promos where running and I stuck to their conditions and requirements: don't see any fair reason for which I had my tickets removed

You will receive some type of credit, tourney money etc for the tickets that you have earned that is commensurate with the value of the tickets.  We are working on what exactly that will be and it should be finalized by Monday.  We have a record of every single action, ticket, etc that has occurred at BetcoinPoker.com.

We have spent a lot of time, effort and energy programming in the tournament liquidity, coordinating the 1,500 BTC ($1,000,000) GTD tourney, BetcoinSports.com, affiliates etc and unfortunately we can't have everything perfect each time we roll out a new feature, but it will get there and your time effort and energy in winning the tickets along with everything else will be rewarded.

ok as long as we get the same credit for the tickets we had

what about this?

?almost Friday was supposed get something on monday

We must do better than that, don't you agree?  How about 1,668 BTC currently ($1,000,000) GTD.  The irony is that this works out better for us anyway as we were calling it the 1,500 BTC ($1,000,000) GTD but now we can be more precise by adding currently.
