I just wasted 15 minutes trying to get in a small Rugby bet.

Odds were 2.80, bet rejected due to "Significant odds change".

Retry at 2.78, bet rejected due to "Significant odds change".

Retry at 2.76, bet rejected due to "Significant odds change".

Took a look out of curiosity, now 2.74

I'm not wasting any more time on this or this site.

Significant odds change!!!

2.80 is 35.71% breakeven.
2.78 is 35.97% breakeven. The significant odds change was a whole one quarter of 1%. Wow!
2.76 is 36.23% breakeven. Same as above.
2.74 is 36.50% breakeven. Same as above.

This is a joke.

I also thought you are the book that allows a player to win 7 bitcoins.
Yet the max here, with the game starting within 15 minutes, was about 1.00 btc, perhaps at most 1.50 btc, in which case your risk is less than 3.00 btc.

We allow players to win 7 bitcoins?
High limits?

Last week DirectBet increased the bet odds and decreased the max bet size.

But you can still bet more than the maximum if you like. Read here how :

To avoid rejections use the Negotiate Odds or Flexible Odds betting options. See here :

I just wasted 15 minutes trying to get in a small Rugby bet.

Odds were 2.80, bet rejected due to "Significant odds change".

Retry at 2.78, bet rejected due to "Significant odds change".

Retry at 2.76, bet rejected due to "Significant odds change".

I'll use the two bets that you placed today on Adelaide Crows to explain how we process your bets.

The first time when you ordered the bet, the odds were 2.92. By the time we received your bet transfer, the odds went up to 2.96.

While other Sportbooks might confirm your bet at 2.92, the lower ordered odds, we confirmed your bet at 2.96. We are being very fair and honest with our players as is demonstrated here.

A few minutes later, you ordered the same bet at odds of 2.96. This time, by the time we received your bet transfer, the odds went back to 2.92.

Since you selected the "Firm Odds" betting option, and since the odds reduced, your bet was rejected and refunded immediately.

Had you selected the "Flexible Odds" option instead, your bet would have confirmed at 2.92.

You also have another option - "Negotiate Odds". You could use it to instruct us to confirm your bet at odds of 2.96 or higher. Now instead of immediately rejecting your bet, we would hold it until the start of the event (3 minutes in this case) while attempting to confirm it at odds of 2.96 or higher. Most likely, we would have managed to confirm your bet at 2.96 had you used this option.

So to summary, we give you full control of how you would like your bets to be processed.

Please visit http://www.directbet.eu/FAQ.cshtml#BetOptions for more information and let me know if you have any questions.

It's hard to find a book that has e-sports, do any BTC books even offer them?  I remember bitbook used to  but they always had issues grading e-sports.

We have some excellent news for those of you who like to bet with micro stakes.

As you may know, DirectBet does not force a minimum bet size. You are free to bet as little as you like.

The problem is that the Bitcoin network usually charges 0.0001 BTC in fee for each transfer, so sending very small amounts might diminish your chances of winning, due to the fees.

We have now solved this problem by accepting Dogecoins !

The fee to transfer Dogecoins is just 1 DOGE, which is equal to 0.000001 BTC, making it the best coin to bet with micro stakes at DirectBet.

There are several exchanges that let you convert Bitcoins to Dogecoins easily, instantly and automatically. If you need help with that, feel free to contact us.

How exactly does the payout work? If you win do you get paid in BTC at the equivalent price at the time of your bet or at the completion of the bet event? There is no option to be paid back in the same currency as you bet in?

The payouts are issued in the same coin used for betting.

When you order a bet, you have an option to select which coin to bet with.

If for example you select Dogecoin, then you are given a Dogecoin address to send your bet to, and your winnings are sent back to your Dogecoin wallet.
