We can use the reddit logo for now (since that at least has some public exposure) and decide on an official logo later. A suggestion was made on this thread to possibly get a logo design competition running on 99designs.com. We definitely need something professionally done. https://forums.counterparty.co/index.php/topic,28.15.htmlLogo looks good, in my opinion. We should use this

What's the point of sweeping it out of the individual deposit account though? I don't really get that.
Suppose five people each deposit one XCP, then one person buys all five XCP and attempts to withdraw them. All the XCP need to be in one account so people who withdraw without depositing can get them. About the withdrawal fee, it is definitely higher than all the others. The others are supposed to be just TX fees, but the XCP has to cover some hidden costs. Once we see what price XCP settles on initially, I'll adjust it accordingly. I have no intention of profiting off of withdrawal fees. Many successful deposits went through, and although only one person made a withdrawal, it was also successful (in addition to my many withdrawal tests). So we're launching! BTC/XCP market now live: https://www.poloniex.com/exchange/btc_xcpHave we decided on a logo yet? Are the deposits working? I did a test deposit and it does not look they are getting credit to the account although they already show on the blockchain

My deposit showed up in exactly 6 confirms. Does seem like some people are having trouble though. To my knowledge 100% of deposits have been successful. I think it is 6 confirms + a few more due to the sweeping to main acct. Just have to do the deposit and go do other stuff, bitcoin is slow

Hope the first deposit was a one time problem.

An absolute minimum of 1 confirmation is needed for anything to show up in your deposits. After the first confirmation, an attempt is made to send your deposit to the main account. If this fails, then more BTC dust is sent to your XCP deposit address. This needs one more confirmation to clear. Then, another attempt is made, but sometimes the second one can fail, too. After the XCP is finally sent to the main account, an additional two confirmations are needed.
In addition to this, the daemon runs once every ten minutes. So if there are some fast blocks on the BTC network, you can end up with more confirmations.
I've just made a change that should help any stuck deposits (there seem to be three of them right now). Before, one dust transfer was made if the transfer of XCP to the main account failed, and then the daemon just kept trying without any additional dust transfers. The only case in which additional dust would be transferred is if the "TX rejected" error was thrown instead of the "insufficient BTC" error. Since the daemon only runs once every ten minutes, I think it's probably safe to have additional dust transferred after every failure, so I've made that change.
Once the main wallet gets enough XCP, I'll be able to credit people before the move into the main account is complete, but for now, every XCP on balance and available for purchase needs to be available for immediate withdrawal.
Also, at these prices, it's looking like 1 XCP fee and 5 XCP minimum withdrawal might be a bit high...

Ok, trying to get counterpartyd working again, for the life of me I can't get this thing going no matter what I do. Nothing but error messages no matter if I compile from source or use the installer.
Just wanted to clarify something, ok so here is the default counterpartyd conf
[Default] bitcoind-rpc-connect=localhost bitcoind-rpc-port=8332 bitcoind-rpc-user=rpc bitcoind-rpc-password=rpcpw1234 rpc-user=my_api_user rpc-password=my_api_password
If I am not using the API to connect to counterpartyd, do I just put anything in those spots?
And my corresponding bitcoin conf is this
server=1 daemon=1 txindex=1 rpcallowip=localhost rpcport=8332 rpcuser=rpc rpcpassword=rpcpw1234
I know there are guides on this but I am clearly doing something wrong and just wanted to be sure I had the basics right.

We are taking submissions for the Desktop GUI Bounty Those who have made Desktop GUIs and would like to be eligible for the desktop GUI bounty should provide the following: - a link to source code
- screen shots
- a short description
- a list of features
- platform support and an installation guide
- your future plans: do you plan on maintaining your client? What if there were a "client maintenance" bounty?
Post the above on the official forum bounty thread and also PM it to cityglut, xnova and PhantomPhreak.
