It looks like someone tried to make a BTCPay to the same order match twice. The first time was valid; the second time was of course, invalid.

http://blockscan.com/btcpay.aspx?q=3983
http://blockscan.com/btcpay.aspx?q=3986

What happened here?

Shouldn't counterpartyd disallow BTCPay to an order-match-id that is already paid?

Perhaps an issue with confirmations not being sent out. (confirmations aren't always sent out from bitcoin-qt every block).

Looks like more user error than anything, but probably some error-trap logic locally would be helpful here.

On the other hand, volume just exploded today (relatively speaking) on the DEX. Public exposure?

We can use the reddit logo for now (since that at least has some public exposure) and decide on an official logo later.

A suggestion was made on this thread to possibly get a logo design competition running on 99designs.com. We definitely need something professionally done.

https://forums.counterparty.co/index.php/topic,28.15.html

Logo looks good, in my opinion. We should use this

Good one.

We can go to https://www.poloniex.com/exchange/btc_xcp  for exchange now.The first finished XCP order price on poloniex is 0.15BTC/XCP.

Also we can still use DEX(Decentralized Exchange) for XCP exchange. The XCP DEX price refer to: http://blockscan.com/

If Mastercoin is Kim, and Counterparty is her baby daddy Kanye, which crypto is North West then?

poloniex has google authenticator 2FA and so far I havent had any problems. Tristan has got a nice selection of new altcoins there

However, last I checked, poloniex has yet to implement the API coinmarketcap needs.

No rush, better to wait until web client is available

I  think I screwed up big time.

I have 3k XCP in an electrum address. Seems like the Electrum client isn't compatible with counterparty.

I dont know what i was thinking when i bought the coins and asked to have them sent to that address.

Is there anyway to retrieve the coins?

What do they need? Poloniex has public API methods: poloniex.com/api

The volume on Poloniex is pretty good for only ~6 hours worth of trading.

The criteria for a coin to be added on http://coinmarketcap.com

Code:
Criteria for a coin to be added:
Must be a cryptocurrency
Must be traded on a public exchange that is older than 30 days and with an API available.
Must have a public URL that displays the total supply (total mined so far).

Not sure exactly, I think volume info.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=199685.0 is their thread, I think they actively respond to queries. All of your coins would automatically qualify for coinmarketcap once you get the API they need

Thanks for the great work!!

In less than a day over 10 BTC traded at about an average of .008 BTC per XCP. This is significantly higher than the forum person to person trades and even higher than Dex trades.

Get the private key for the address containing the xcp from electrum and import it into the reference client.

Thank you for addressing my concern, also excuse my ignorance in this matter.

Is this a sure solution? It definetly makes sense.

Thanks alot

Yes, as long as you control the private keys, you control the XCP (or Bitcoins for that matter).
