Cross-post from official forums: Releasing counterpartyd v9.33.0 on the develop branch. This update fixes a (very) minor protocol problem with call dates and call prices. This change will go into effect with block 312000, before which time the new version will be merged into master.

Development update* BTER-like Dex interface is undergoing final testing. * The nasty CLOSE_WAIT bug I think I've found the fix to, that has been causing stability issues on Counterwallet. Undergoing final testing tonight to ensure that is the case, and will deploy tomorrow if so. * Also... get ready... for offline Armory support in Counterwallet! Add an address in an offline armory wallet ( https://bitcoinarmory.com/about/using-our-wallet/) to your Counterwallet, and do something (like send some XCP from that address), which will produce the armory unsigned transaction text. Copy it to a USB key, take it to your offline computer running armory (which has the private keys), sign it on that computer via the armory GUI, and then broadcast the signed transaction back in Counterwallet. This will make use of assets owned in this address very secure...basically cold storage of Counterparty assets, with almost the usability of a hot wallet. Personally very excited about this... I know I'll be using it. This is really big stuff! Great work!

BetXCP is live! For cryptocurrency sports bettors who want an alternative to centralized betting solutions, BetXCP is a peer-to-peer betting platform that eliminates the need for sportsbooks. Unlike sportsbooks, BetXCP is never in possession of customer funds.

The site, verbiage, and fundraising concept looks very familiar Counterparty is seriously facilitating and environment where start-ups can incubate and offer financial participation. I am certain that both swarmcorp and storj can join forces and actually counterparty will also ride that momentum. The synergy between this trio is exciting and currently just the top of the iceberg. Exciting stuff!

XCP isn't mined, but you can buy it at any of the exchanges listed here: https://www.counterparty.co/xcp/

Announcement: We hit a major milestone in Counterparty adoption today: there have been over a thousand transactions in the past twenty-four hours. In fact, we've almost hit 1100 transactions (it could still go higher). That means about 1.7% of all Bitcoin transactions in that same period were Counterparty transactions! That's more than we've ever had before, and it's part of a powerful trend over the past few weeks and months signaling the rapid growth of the Counterparty network and ecosystem. (In particular, most of the transactions today were LTBcoin related, which has been a major boon to the Counterparty economy, and a strong driver of adoption for the platform we are all working on. Be sure to support Let's Talk Bitcoin wherever you can! We had almost as many transactions yesterday, because of the highly successful crowdsale for Storj, which is a totally separate project.)
