Announcement: We hit a major milestone in Counterparty adoption today: there have been over a thousand transactions in the past twenty-four hours. In fact, we've almost hit 1100 transactions (it could still go higher). That means about 1.7% of all Bitcoin transactions in that same period were Counterparty transactions! That's more than we've ever had before, and it's part of a powerful trend over the past few weeks and months signaling the rapid growth of the Counterparty network and ecosystem. (In particular, most of the transactions today were LTBcoin related, which has been a major boon to the Counterparty economy, and a strong driver of adoption for the platform we are all working on. Be sure to support Let's Talk Bitcoin wherever you can! We had almost as many transactions yesterday, because of the highly successful crowdsale for Storj, which is a totally separate project.)
Huh. Counterparty had 3815 txs in the past seven days. By comparison Nxt had 4942 and Mastercoin had just 60. edits

I have a small suggestion for the Counterparty site... when clicking on any exchanges listed there it just brings up a larger version of the site's logo, maybe have a link pointing to the respective XCP trading page instead? Just seems like it would make more sense from a usability standpoint.

Just seems like it would make more sense from a usability standpoint. I see what you mean, but do you agree that you wouldn't click to those sites there if you already knew about them? That is, you'll probably click on an exchange that you aren't a member of, which means such users would have to (or should) check out the home page and open an account before that. IMO while it may be useful to have another page, or a widget, with the current rate on those exchanges. That would probably provide some basic info without clicking on all the links.

Hi guys, we've put a preview of the upcoming version (1.4.0) on https://cw03.counterwallet.co/ ... feel free to log in and give it a spin. Please report any bugs you find on the forums, on the skype chat, or to our github bug tracker. Specifically, the main new functionality is the new dex (under Exchange) and the offline armory signing feature (under Create New Address...a tutorial for this will be forthcoming before release). Please note that your preferences may not all show up correctly on this server, as it's running an older version of user preferences, as it's just for test. If you use an existing wallet, just ignore it if your addresses are named the old names, or not all of your addresses show by default (you can just click on Create New Address to add the rest of them). Changes to either address names or # of addresses created here will not affect your changes on the production counterwallet.co EDIT: Also, please avoid being logged into the same wallet account on both this server and the production server, if you are making dex orders of any kind. This is to avoid any automatic BTCPays from happening multiple times.

A small suggestion, since you the protocol doesn't allow lowercase assets, maybe the field in the DEX should uppercase every input ?

Hi guys, we've put a preview of the upcoming version (1.4.0) on https://cw03.counterwallet.co/ ... feel free to log in and give it a spin. Please report any bugs you find on the forums, on the skype chat, or to our github bug tracker. I like it! Congrats. It looks a lot more like the classic exchange interface that everybody is accustomed to. Ought to make it easier to use for the masses. But the "trade this for that" component is one of the most brilliant pieces of Counterparty in my opinion. One question... any suggestions on how to better get my order matched in a timely fashion? I notice that sometimes I put orders out there and think I'm matching market prices and yet they just sit there until they expire. Occasionally it works better if I lower my selling price a little bit but sometimes those orders don't go through either. Do you think increasing the transaction fee would help solve this problem? Thanks.

Do your orders involve BTC?

Do your orders involve BTC? I think the new interface is great, just need to make sure that the order books never get crossed and that the buy/sell prices always make sense and match up. (The old interface was fine, but these issues seemed to keep coming up, which is why I'm mentioning them.) It also would be nice if there were some mechanism in Counterwallet to check if the user has any orders which are screwed up somehow (crossed order book, etc.) and alert them with the need to cancel the order and remove it from the books if it is somehow clogging up the markets ineffectively.

Yes, it does actually. I am trying to trade 3000 LTBCOIN for 0.00963 BTC as it matches up to an open order I saw on the exchange (I think my price was slightly cheaper than the market order).
