I didn't catch what the first three projects were at the Swarm talk but http://www.ziftrcoin.com/ is the fourth.

the next poor attempt / scam?
The other three were storj, manna (something involving web-controlled drones), and coinspace (have no idea what that is). I wouldn't vouch for any of the above but at least thought the list would be useful. As Matt-Y says though, Techstars which is funded partially by Fred Wilson of Union Square Ventures getting involved with Swarm is probably the biggest positive.

I have a question on using Counterparty. Say if I set an order to buy an asset, do I need to stay logged in and wait for someone to log in and match the price or can I log out and then come back and find my order executed if someone matched my price?

As BTC trading has been removed from Counterwallet, and all pairs are all Counterparty assets, you don't need to stay logged in.

What was the ath,  anybody remember¿

I think it peaked at ~0.024 when it was first traded.

yep and it was around the range traded now for maybe a week or so. but what needs to be said here is that a) the market segment was maybe by a maginitude more bullish and b) most people were not able to move their coins to an exchange at that time because it was as complicated as building a rocket Cheesy

I think this price is more accurate and shows real demand.

125 XCP bounty for a Counterwallet Russian translation

I'm putting up a two party bounty, worth 125 XCP total:

* 100 XCP will be awarded to the individual that fully completes a translation of Counterwallet to Russian
* 25 XCP will be awarded to a second individual that fully reviews the translation

The two components must be done by separate people, and the first individual may not collect his/her bounty until the translation is fully reviewed and all corrections are made.

Transifex page for Counterwallet is at: https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/counterwallet/

If you'd like to perform this, please apply to the Russian language section as a translator. The first person that completes the translation will be the one considered for the 100 XCP bounty. The first person that completes the review of the translation will be the one considered for the 25XCP bounty.

I didn't catch what the first three projects were at the Swarm talk but http://www.ziftrcoin.com/ is the fourth.

Rick Falkvinge, the author of Swarmwise (inspiration for Ethereum) and founder of the Pirate Party, plans on shaking up the world with his new project called SwarmOps, which will be fully presented at the Swarm Demo Day this week on November 5th.- source: http://bitcoinmagazine.com/17956/swarm-1-rick-falkvinges-swarmops-project

SwarmOps Introduction:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0bvdFwY2Ls
SwarmOps asset - http://blockscan.com/assetInfo.aspx?q=SWARMOPSNPO

Other projects outlined during swarm demo day:

Quote
Manna – a developer of smart personal drone networks
Coinspace – an operator of a decentralized cryptocurrency workplace
Judobaby – a decentralized gaming platform
DDP – a “decentralized dance party”

Does anyone happen to have any XCP relevant Money20/20 slides?, I saw there was some mentions of it in the agenda

i think you are being overally generous (OP), i got a chinese translation done for 100 xcp when xcp was at 0.01 and btc was a little cheaper

also russia's currencies is heavily devalued now...  you could have done Russian and Ukrainian for that price, at least in Ukraine crypto is not illegal...

As BTC trading has been removed from Counterwallet, and all pairs are all Counterparty assets, you don't need to stay logged in.

Does "all pairs are all Counterparty assets" mean everything has to be traded with XCP? Or is that XBTC then?

Wow, that's quite neat. No website to try it out yet I suppose?
This could be very useful for all kinds of crypto projects.

Either, that doesn't matter because both of those are Counterparty assets (so you could do SWARM/XCP, SWARM/XBTC, SWARM/LTBCOIN, etc).... XCP will probably be the dominant quote currency, however (the 2nd currency in the pair, in which the price of the first is put in terms of).

Maybe I just overthink things but offering 125xcp overall to get the wallet translated to Russian (knowing Russia banned bitcoin) hints that perhaps the devs have made some kind of lucrative contact with russia? Are they trying to hop on board low key with btc technology and specifically going after asset creation power given by Counterparty? I mean, i don't care if the Russian mobs contacted you or not but just curious lol.

Wouldn't automatically assume counterparty dev team is on payroll of russian mafia for this transifex bounty  Cheesy
125 XCP is a fair amount but still human translation per string is generally not super cheap. It was not being completed quickly
Sure you may get done for less, but paying extra to fast track translation of a large market sector like russia or china isn't crazy, especially in the light of recent news there

It's impressive to see that Counterparty has done everyting right from the beginning. For a long term perspective, it's the most comforting investment one could make in the crypto space.

I know it's not the place to debate this, but I am definitely more than happy to be invested in Counterparty, and slightly less on Darkcoin too (the dev just released a video of instant transactions - well, 20 to 30 seconds, but still awesome).

Awesome projects, although XCP is a more elaborate one, while drk might appeal the underground economy.
