As a paycheck to paycheck tech support guy I am just WAY too excited watching the price on XCP go higher and higher. I only have 25 but i've watched in just 2 weeks my holdings go (just sitting in my account) from being worth 80 dollars to now being worth 150 dollars...EPICNESS!! I may not be an investment expert but I'd say watching your holdings pretty much double in 2 weeks is typically pretty good in the investment world? lol..
Counterparty is swimming upstream which makes it one of a kind because the general trend for alt crypto-currencies has been to start off with a bang and then steadily decline as some of the initial investors start to dump. To be fair counterparty faced much the same when it went from 0.02 to below 0.003 but is now steadily climbing back up. Credit goes to the Counterparty team for demonstrating capabilities and showing impeccable integrity. However it will also be unfair to assume a permanent upward curve. If you are around for the long ride don't get too excited or dejected by the price movement - it tends to have a mind of its own. I am personally looking forward to the implementation of Medici and increased community adoption of counterparty functionality.

I have lost my XCP account password. But I have a private key. Can I recover my XCP and Foldingcoins from old wallet using the private key? And how to do it?

Create a new wallet in counterwallet.io , click import from private key, then all counterparty assets including xcp , plus btc will be moved to the new wallet.

Some assets in the wallet are shown with the lock symbol. What does this mean?

A locks an optional irreversible change that prevents more of that asset being created. It's main use case I can think of is to provide reassurance to purchasers that their asset wont be diluted.

You should transfer your btc to your bter btc address, not bter xcp address I know that was accident. Need to contact to support and tell where want coins and other details before get that to right address. But now everything is good and own over 80 coins more

Mind blown. One side of me is worried that someone's going to start playing Tetris in Counterparty or find some bug in the virtual machine but on the other hand, this is a major technical coup that's going to take months to play out. For those who are new to Ethereum, what are some simple contracts that now become possible (on testnet)?

You guys have no idea how much i'm laughing, it's so evil though. This competitive world we live in...I mean yeah Ethereum had all of that stuff open source but dayum!!! I don't think they really expected anyone to just steal their shit hahahha I'm not a basketball fan but I'm reminded of Kobe just dunking on someone in a really mean way.
