It is disabled since 2 days... Just checked a few of the main coins, and Bitshares BTS withdrawals are also disabled. Anything else disabled?

Awesome about the xcp price. The price of bitcoin is also really low and I feel 2015 will be a year of price surges since much of the infrastructure has been refined with all the venture capital put into it in 2014.
I get paid tomorrow and going to buy as much xcp as possible for cold storage, with the recent update of microsoft now accepting bitcoin everyone is going to be taking this technology really seriously in the upcoming year. I can't wait.

I tweeted them to ask them why it hasn't been added yet. Here's their twitter page: https://twitter.com/btc38comThe "problem" with the XCP price isn't that it's lower than before, it's that the liquidity is too low. Anyone with decent holdings wanting to cash out can move the market down 50%.

Cause it was pumped and now its dumped? It's very thinly traded. Liquidity will increase with use and if other uses (such as betting and community-based tokens) don't strengthen, Medici could incentivize some pretty massive increases in that liquidity if not the XCP price. i think the last few days it has been the issue with the updates to the software, which it appears has caused bter.com to suspend deposits/withdraws and perhaps freaked out a few people

Anyone with decent holdings wanting to cash out can move the market down 50%. maybe they have affiliations + market making endeavours with BTS so have incentivization to keep CNY/BTS markets active, the volume there always eclipses BTS/BTC, Although they can make money with XCP trades perhaps it's not enough compared to what they receive currently or will detract from that, maybe this is the reason they haven't added XCP yet. I, along with some other users had contacted them regarding this numerous times but never received any concrete answer.

In regards to the Bter thing, I just want to point out that Andreas Antonopoulos predicted long ago the potential dangers of keeping substantial crypto funds on any exchange since they are centralized entities.
I keep the majority of my crypto currency in platforms which I have control of the private keys and the only time I use an exchange is when I want to...exchange/trade for an alt coin or us dollars and that's it. Please don't keep huge sums of funds on any centralized exchange which controls the private keys because you never know when or if it might have a problem.

1. Thank you prophetx on the bter withdrawal updates, will try it later. 2. I've been having a problem with one of my logins for Counterwallet, constant btc sync timeouts. see below, Where's the best tutorial to installing counterpartyd on Ubuntu 14.04? I'll probably need it.

I just wanted to say thank you for your informative, adult, and non-aggressive answers. This scene is overflooded by so many worse-than-banksters people, that such an (in other fields unsurprising) response level is truely uplifting right now. Thanks. Feel free to add to it, but my question has been answered, I probably hodl longer. Enjoy your weekend
