I pity the fool that sells Coinye for Dogecoin and doesn't hand over 90% of it immediately to Kanye West

ok.....might sound like a complete noob right now, but started mining at coye.pool.pm last night (again, after regretfully selling ~600k COYE).....it's been around 20 hrs and I have no confirmed coins.....I switched to dedicatedpool earlier today, have some sitting there waiting to confirm also.....is something going on with the confirmations? Are the pools fucking us? is it solely because so many people pulled out and there's not enough confirming to keep up now? someone please enlighten me, because I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever see these coins!

You will get your coins, don't worry. Confirmations are slow because difficulty is very high for current size of network. But they are still going. If more people come back to mine it will go faster.. edit: difficulty will retarget in 125 blocks which is about one day at current hashrate

If more people come back to mine it will go faster.. ok....that's what I thought initially, but being THIS slow started throwing up some red flags......hoping more come together to support the coin to show Coinye (notice I didn't say Kanye) the community is bigger than some half-ass rapper will ever be

Normal blocktime is 90 seconds, but at the moment it is almost 12 minutes, because no retarget yet and low hashrate. So at dedicated and 100 confirms for a block it takes almost 20 hours to confirm one block.

I'm selling 11.7 million of these in an auction right now. Current bid is at 0.35BTC for the entire lot. If anyone can beat it, please let me know. I'm selling to the highest bidder in 25 minutes.

How are folks selling COYE. Seems like the wallets are not updating and coins are taking a LONG time to confirm.
Thanks, YC
Let it work for some time

I'm game - adding my 12 MH/s to try to keep things moving. Would be a nice community comeback victory to see this happen.

enough of this underground things. coinye's new website should CLEARLY distance itself from the original devs, who are still posting absurd things on fb and old homepage. maybe add a note that the original dev - well - failed to carry the burden also, update OP with WORKING pools (i can test them if you want) and remove the index.html from your download server

No need. This is the same CoinyeCoin (gayfish coin) that was from the start.
