Is mintpal.com down ?

For Firefox users just use a different browser opera, ie or gc in the meantime until they fix it.

I read the whole op but didnt see how PoS is implemented in microcoin. Is there a fixed interest rate for coins held? And how long do they need to be held for 1 month blocks or 1 year, and if you need to keep wallet on 24/7 minting?
Forget stake for profits.
It will gives not coins but cents (1/100)

Thanks for your reply, was wishing there was a small interest rate for coin holders.
For coin holders, there is more than poor stake.
If you buy or mining micro's now, you will get 100X more coins than after few months.
Here you can read more about microCoin blockrewards. http://microcoin.alcurex.info/technical-specs/  Wink

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Anyone experiencing hw errors when mining?
I retargeted my miners over to microcoin again, using same miner and same settings that worked superb earlier.
Now ALL my rigs displays a shitload of HW errors (pool only get 1/3 of hashing power).
Cant seem to figure out why Sad

I dont understand why a pump like this would occur while microCoin is going to reach its maximum height? Its not like the rewards is going to drop immediately after block 160k. ppl will still be mining millions like they are now for about another month or 2

This is just how things go my friend. Prices go up at some point. Sometimes a lot - and fast.

But in 8 days the coins will reach peak generation rate. Then it will drop almost 2% per DAY.
So after the peak generation will rapidly drop. So unfortunately they won't be mining much longer.

oh -- I read that Mintpal fixed it's issue with SSL or cloudflare did.

Attempts to lower price now and/or corral people in to keep from rising.
He needs some more coins! Always good. A guy has to eat.

Market cap = $360k @ 7 satoshi and 9 billion coins
Up from low $200k is not bad for 24 hours.

MINT made it to 5-6 million cap.

actually, im kind of worried/against coinmarketcap at the moment. Will Btc price recovery affect MRC in a negative way if it were listed on CMC.com? Or will MRC rise with it? Im guessing it will rise with it, but then will it also fall with it? Hopefully Alcurex will solve this problem and will make MRC stand on its own. Looking forward to the future.

You want to know something interesting.

Poloniex and Mintpal seem to be both under DDOS attack on and off today. What do those two exchanges have in common?
They both sell MRC. So someone must really may be trying to scoop up last cheap MRC.

Either that or all the exchanges are under attack - but I had trouble on just those two and there
are others reports of it. Poloniex was supposedly down for a little bit.

Mintpal is having an SSL issue today with firefox and cloudflare.
I cannot get to it with Firefox but IE worked.

https://twitter.com/MintPalExchange

Interesting eh?
Last chance for cheap MRC.

Excellent - does it have 24/7 uptime?

Yes if someone can step forward and set it up right now that would be great.
I am sending in the coinmarketcap.com request.

Guess what!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=199685.msg5352919#msg5352919

It's submitted to coinmarketcap.com with the existing total coins URL. Done.
It will be listed within 24-48 hours most likely at a starting cap of 250-350k.

If someone gets a proper ABE explorer or another solution for total coins in the next day
that would be great and I will send it right away to CMC to replace the existing one.
