Happyminers.net locked my account and no payout for my last night mining. No response after emailing them neither. Just changed to forkpool.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Need an advice, I really trust that 42 value will explode soon and I have some Dents.
Should I sell my other cryptos (near half BTC) to invest while the value is still "low" ?
I don't want to regret it.. (we never know)
What do you think ?

I only started with alt coins last November, got in at $5 a LTC, started with £400, made some money, then dabbled in other smaller alt coins, made a bit of profit here and there, kept my LTC all this time. But now I have got rid of EVERYTHING, and put all of my profit, 5BTC worth into 42coin, it will make or break me, but there you go, this sort of stuff is not for the faint hearted.

I'll take the risk, started last november too, let's go to make profit with 42 ! Grin

yeah i had all kinds of problems with 42 pools.
one was ddos'd and locked payouts for days.
but they finally opned back up to let us get our coin.. a bit let to catch the highs.

coinminer.net says shows my addy as paid.. with a link to block explorer which is broken.. never got the coin. The previous site i cashed out day later.. got the coin.(i tried to use a second block explorere but it was borked as well and while it could find my addy, it couldnt show me the block.. and since I used that addy for the other pool.. just finding my addy is meaningless)

got to love the contact button goes to a dead thread here on bitcoin talk

anyone else mine at coinminers pool and get paid?

Talk about taking a snooze. I was anticipating higher volumes and a better price after the Business Insider article was released.

Talk about taking a snooze. I wasn't expecting such low volumes after the Business Insider article was released.

It took years for Bitcoin to take off.

Don't panic! It takes a while for new money to get thier bitcoins to the exchange. If they are doing coinbase for first time it will be four business days at the very least.

To be honest, I'm not exactly sure what was so exciting about that article.

Yeah, I would have to agree. I thought it was some good visibility at least, but I think I got caught up in the Hendo pumps on the article.

The fact that the 42 Coin (out of the 100s of Alt Coins we have here) is being written up in
a mainstream business publication is very sweet, so early in the coins release.

What Hendo has to say about the state of Alt Coins and how 42 Coin is different, is quite enlightening.

I just joined this coin and this forum today.
Tried to browse all pages from the start but had to give it up when my eyes started turning bug-eyed..
I like the idea - but fail to understand what will happen after 1 year when all 42 coins are mined..?
How can it keep value - and how will it circulate..?

Its rarity is its value. It hopefully will be traded in the future as a currency.

I view 42 as a commodity, (like Bitcoin and Litecoin really are), but even more so because there are only 42 coins.

Predictions for when price will spike? At the end of the day it matters how much money is pumped into it, not really the ratio/rarity.

Support your favorite new cryptos. Trade at Cryptsy, the most well known clusterfuck of success.

My newb theory:
I guess miners will continue to mine blocks for the transactions fees if profitable. Investors and bagholders will continue to trade 42 coins for bitcoins. Since 42 coins are so hard to mine with 7.5 minute difficulty changes panic buys will keep it from dying until then. I guess we will get an early vision of what happens to bitcoin when all 22 million bitcoins are mined...

Hello guys, if you mined on http://42.happyminers.net you may have noticed the server upgrade happened on 14 January 2014. I thought I lost all my balance, so I sent support requests, later a PM, etc.

Further investigations seem to prove that balances may not have been transferred to the new server, me and another user found our old balances accessing the old server via http://s2.happyminers.net, but it seems we are still unable to withdraw.

I had no response so far from the pool admin.

If you mined there before 14 January 2014, I'd say to have a look if you have some locked coins too.
