in preparation and to make sure u have maximum gains in the 100% POS phase
make sure u dont destroy coin-age by moving coins around in ur wallet
each time u do thats u destroy coin-age

explanation of Diamond POS mechanics u will find here
http://bit.diamonds/community/index.php/topic,46.msg376.html#msg376
Noble POS will be the same just different POS reward triggers
(optimized to Noblecoin total coin size and a compromise of short term
high rewards and still keep an eye on total coins not become to high for being a 2 digit BTC satoshi coin)

some might still think about why hybrid POW/POS
the reason is well done it offers higher security for the coin network than pure POW or POS networks
in the past lot coins that started as hybrid did switch to POW or POS only because their team wasnt able
master the difficulties to secure and optimize the hybrid security code

DMD Diamond solved all the weakness step by step and now only the advantages are remaining
which move our wallet and all wallets on same code base (which Noblecoin will be) into a superior position

and the merged mining will extend that superior position ever further
because then all the hashing from merged mining family will protect all members of the mining family

so would my coin-age reset if I move more coins to my noble wallet from an exchange right now(current wallet coins are months old)?  Will there be a max stake age?

The coin age for the coins you moved from the exchange would be reset, but the ones already in your wallet would stay with the same age.

SO to prepare for pos, what is the maximum coin block size I should make? What is max reward for pos stake? Is there a max coin size block?
When do you think the switch will be ready? Days/Weeks?

What is min coin age/whats max coin age?

Thanks in advance

Vegas

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

we have good news and bad news

good news is main developer expect the work to be less than we did think at first
bad news he was on a important business trip in LA

so in the end we expect to deliver the wallet in 2-4 weeks

read the link that describe DMD POS mechanics
http://bit.diamonds/community/index.php/topic,46.msg376.html#msg376

POS Blocktime will be 300 sec (faster isnt required POW blocks happen each 60 sec to keep up the "fast" transaction times)
it will be 7 days 30 days

there is no max size of coin pile
any POS that happens between 7-30 days coin-age will be split stake

but coins older than 30 days and and in a pile smaller than 50000 Noble with try to groupstake(merging together with other small coin pile)
and by this mechanism its not needed u do any manual coin-control coin merge

Sorry I missed you on Skype (for everyone else, my Skype is jason.curby.jc - I'm happy to be more available to all community members once I get this paper done), will be on later in the day also again. No worries on the 2-4 weeks. Once this is done and dusted we've got new UI's and features in development (thanks to the DMD team and our original feature list).

Regarding Moolah, please be sure to try and withdraw your coins ASAP if you haven't in the past few weeks. I'm sure many people are aware of the ongoing dramas there. There are threads where you can list your coins and some action being taken on the DOGE reddit if you want to see how things are going or take them further. I really have no more info. than what is publicly available, I've literally had zero response or correspondence from Moolah since trying to get us listed on their initial services in January.

I'm quite vocal on Twitter regarding NOBL things 'in the works' and crypto. in general to keep us in everyone's mind, even if I'm a little less vocal here.

i know the old POS conversion team
did run different POS ideas

but in my opinion ours is superior

if some of u followed their advice and split coins in different address
that wouldnt be needed for DMD POS

in fact it work better of all coins are in the same wallet address
because POS is always limited to the address the coins are in
and groupstake mechanism can by split coins in different address
not not merge coin pile together from different addresses

if u have split coins in different wallets long time ago leave them this way
until they create pos rewards and then when thier coin age is reduced try to reduce ur different wallet addresses to a minimum

i run as example only 3 addresses and see no reason why i could need more

there was the quiestion if the new wallt will reset coin-age anyway

answer is no

coin-age isnt stored in wallet

its depends on when ur coin pile did last time take part in a transaction visible in blockchain

even if we launch with a new wallet we keep existing blockchain so we keep old coin-age

not many dev teams where able to do what we did with DMD Diamond

change mining algo and keep old blockchain

its more complicated than it sounds

in fact the wallet must be able to understand old algo too to be able sync the old parts of the blockchain

With low volume atm it is quite easy to manipulate the price.

Was just wondering, are there still attacks on nobl network occuring?

check out what happend with dmd diamond the last 2 months and u see the future of noblecoin
http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/pair/dmd/btc/cryptsy/3-months

sell now is sorry later

but what u see now isnt investors leave noblecoin
they stay loyal

but instaselling multipools target noble and there is not enought new or increasing investors to buy it

any noblecoin u can get in ur hands  below 20 sat is a sure winner

same as any diamond u can get below 0.0015 btc
