so just out of curiosity on an exchange...
I would like to suggest not getting listed.. on coinedup or any of the new exchanges. Lately, coinedup has become the go to place for new coins to get traded first but the problem with that is coinedup has really small volume which tends to put the price in the the toilet..
I have seen a lot of new coins this last month.. and all the threads end with the same reasoning... coinedup has small volume... dont sell on coinedup.. price is not accurate on coined up.. and the price there ultimately sets the stage for when we get on a bigger exchange.
and its a reasonably accurate judgement.. the only buyers there are those looking for cheap coins.. and they will not outbid each other to go higher which leads to a panic sell by miners.. who are generally neither forward thinking nor have a strong stomach for plummeting price
Personally, i am fine either way just thought i would advice the pitfalls of getting traded to early. Lets shoot for cryptsy or coinex first..I would have suggested bter but recent posts on the forum suggests that support has fallen apart

Hi damnation, we agree with you in many ways. However, to sum up how we feel about it quickly: Some here are obviously for the short-term mining profit to pay the bills, some are here for longer-term holding if they see potential. We don't want to appear to be 'stagnating' in a market that is moving pretty fast, and we feel strongly that getting on an exchange (and applying a price) will help with being accepted by merchants who can then trade the coin on an exchange should they wish to do so.
It's a balancing act, where we are trying to balance the demands of short-term miners, increase the attractiveness of holding longer-term, and appearing more legitimate by being on an exchange so that we can step into building the network of merchants and following marketplace(*s - yes, extremely motivated people have approached with current beta-stage e-commerce sites taking our coins). Hope this attempts to clear things up, it is simply how we feel about the current situation. Cheers.
