Thanks for the coverage Jd! Will be sure to send some your way. Appreciate the interest you have shown! We are very grateful for the donations Rofo, thank you very much We try to get at least 1 article out there on every coin, but as it's a 2-man job, with no money to pay other writers, we were a bit behind schedule regarding Noblecoin Regardless, if you ever have anything you want us to report on, let me know, I'll keep an eye on the proceedings anyway

Hi a3, it looks like you've put a chunk of effort into this and we'll get it up on the site after we review it and send you some feedback! I've sent you a present for your birthday and your hard work. Thanks After the feedback and adjustements, will also try to get it up at Reddit, hope it helps to get attention to the coin.

Very interesting than you so much for this very insightful comment. Only 2 negative comments on 49 pages, and both with no arguments whatsoever, what does it say about NOBLE?

lol i love the 2-3 month period statement but i doubt its feasible... not with whales who want to sell asap... and not with most miners who need immediate returns on their investment True, unfortunately we seem to have very little control over the matter. :S Of course there will be miners who want to sell and have a return on the time they spent mining. But within this community I think there will be a fair amount of hoarding because there's a lot of dedication and a strong belief in the future of this coin if we do this right. So maybe things can be different from the other altcoins dumps that takes place as soon as they hit an exchange... True enough.. one interesting coin i have mined was GRA or Grain.. They started about 2 weeks before Doge, LOT and the rest... but with the hype got lost in the scramble.. anyway.. community stayed small.. about 60-80Mh/s network hash at most.. and dev was constantly working in the background... Imagine that? A dev that could actually code.. anyway.. they only recently got posted on coinedup but whats remarkable is that despite it being 1 and half months old there were relatively no sell orders to match the low buy price.. its an aspect of the coin being PoS.. instead of selling low i would rather generate interest... heck noone is even moving the coin to pump and dump because change in wallet means a restart on PoS generation. Anyway the point to this rambling is that its possible to instill a sense of "I'd rather keep this as an investment than to sell it at such a low price" +1 Grain and Noble are my main coins at the moment. The PoS is a great feature.

It is indeed. Noble may not be PoS but I think that the charity and merchants angle will give the community this incentive to keep rather than sell. Because if it all works out, having NOBLEs is gonna be amazing. Like a win, win, win, win situation. (you're on your own finding who's represented by each "win" )

I have sent an email/support ticket to Coinex.pw asking them to accept Noble on their trading platform. It's a shame that all attention is going to Coinye instead of to coins like this. I see so much potential in this coin but I'm afraid that it will all go to waste unless more people start supporting Noble.

http://noblecoin.cryptotycoons.com/ North American Pool only 1% fee Now .5% Fee!!! Never down FAST!! Free escrow service to all active miners! Lets get our trade volume up so we can hit an exchange! Now Optimized for Noble Coin! Finding blocks over 5 times faster!!!averaging 2 blocks an hour with just 2 MH/s!! I see a lot more coins being mined since the optimization, so thnx for that! This pool is still running great!!!

Cryptotycoons has been solid. I've been there the past 2 days. Unfortunately I think a breaker tripped on my some my rigs because my hash rate just dropped off dramatically, and it was just after I got into work. I was trying to optimize and get more a few more hashes out of my cards last night, and they ran fine overnight but I guess I overdid it by just a tiny bit. Now I have to make a trip back at lunch.

Anyone on ValidError, please consider another pool for the time being. They currently have the hashrate and we need to get it spread out.

Can't we just build in a mechanisme that gives "bonus" coins when you do NOT sell mined coins within 30 days or something like that? This means we will keep the benefit from the attention that new miners bring in but it won't ruin the coin so quickly. Of course some are going to sell directly and don't care about the bonus but some will just keep their coin and want the bonus.... Think we need to look on how to build a steady price that can climb instead of reaching a "high" price that means full dump.... I know that many of us right now think, noooo I will not dump but what IF the price hits lets say "$0,30"? So there are 2 main issue's when it hits an exchange in my view, how to "fight" the shortterm dumping of coins and how to "fight" the dumps when the price reaches a (made up) critical point (people who compare the coin to Quark will use the info from that coin for example)

I like the idea of interest for holding. The way to do this would be to
1) allocate a certain number of premined coins for interest rate purposes 2) plot numbers of coins to be mined vs time and curve fit a trend for expected number of coins in the market 3) record the volume % of coins (or take an educated guess) and subtract this % from the trend in the previous step 4) set an interest rate % that will allow the interest stash to last a year 5) setup a cron job to take care of it from there on out
Now I guess the thing here would be to figure out how much coins each address did not transact and actually hold for a given month. I'm not sure what banks do IRL to calculate interest, but I guess it would be something along those lines.
This definitely wouldn't be something too difficult to code.

i actually message that idea to ROFO about 5 hours ago.. which is kinda why i brought up the the topic of PoS and the need to give an incentive to save.. I imagine Rofo is asleep so will be interested to hear his response.. On maintaining an interest account i would say set aside a fixed amount say 50k and use a simple day trade mechanism.. the reality of the market is that we will see eventual dips.. so buying back more with the BTC earned with initial sale is a given... thats pretty much the simplified way of how a bank does it.. of course they have more options... In the interest of transparency we can even create a www.myaltcoin.com account for the specific trading account..so that any investor could log on to see the status of the transactions...though i am unsure if accessing a site from multiple locations will force account to be closed... we could even choose an Ambassador to give us a status update on the particular account.. Screenshots and all... and no i dont believe this qualifes as a pump and dump system.

^^^^+1 The Dev has pumped money into this time and time again, and the pool owner has raised fees and shut down registration several times. People, if you want your coins to be worth the effort, you need to MOVE YOUR HASH TO ANOTHER POOL. I know valid-error is am amazing pool, and I'd like to use it, but I don't because I want to split up the hash. PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER POOL BELOW. I can personally attest to NoblePool as well as well as CrpytoTycoons. Both run with no problems. 1. Validation Error (1% Fee) 2. Cryptominer (EU) (EU, Amsterdam. 2% Fee) 3. NoblePool (Fee Currently 0%) 4. Idcray (1% Fee) 5. CryptoTycoons (NA. Fees dropped to 0.5%) 6. Pool-Mining (1% Fee) 7. Plingeling (1% Fee) 8. Coinmine.pw (0% Fees) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider the community and move pools, use smaller pools for back ups if need be, that way if a pool goes down hash stays divided.
