I guess I was too busy with stupid cat and memecoins Sad
Bit to late but I've got high hopes Wink
I think there were some problems with the pool, though I cant confirm. Some blocks have ridiculously high share percentages (and I think these blocks also cause the difficulty to jump down again).
Might also be some syncing problem on the pool, I noticed that there are sometimes more new blocks on stratum than in the blockchain.
Running smoothly the last minutes though ...

Hey Grrizz, thanks for the input and I know exactly what you're saying. To be honest I am not American myself and we do not want to appear to be a purely American-focused movement. When we got interested in cryptocoins we were very into the idea of them 'liberating/freeing' their users from certain 'problems' of the current economic system. I do agree it is quite American, and the words were inspired by 'Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness' (which in this situation doesn't help because it makes it even more American). The eagle was obviously chosen because it symbolises freedom, spirit and the pursuit of excellence (in this case some form of freedom from the current monetary system), but this is primarily due to American influences I know.

Personally I did see critique coming of the use of Happiness as we did not want it to seem too cheesy. I did spend more time than perhaps is healthy pondering what could better express what cryptocoins could potentially bring to our lives. I do love mx19's Security, and wish I had thought of that earlier as it fits in well with what cryptocurrencies are all about. In the coming days (with further input from anyone interested) we will probably change the wordings up at least slightly, as I doubt it will damage any initial branding at all.

Cheers!

Appearently it has come so far that you can't use a symbol of freedom anymore without being negatively associated with the USA Cheesy

Hardly surprising seeing as our government's idea of "freedom" is most people's idea of "tyranny."

How far we have fallen...

I can see where you are coming from and it does make sense. I too like mx19's suggestion of security, I don't think altering branding a little in the early days will impact the currency as long as you keep the core there to keep it recognisable, in my opinion new coins are allowed to evolve a bit as feedback comes in, this is particularly true of coins based around more then a meme Wink This is also the main reason I was drawn to your coin, the fact you have a proposal and direction rather then just a short cut and paste spec list and a broken wallet makes it seem to be something with a bit of substance behind it in stead of something trying to cash in on an emotional response (memes) while not bringing anything new to the table and having no further foresight then hitting Cryptsy for a quick dump - hopefully time will prove me right Smiley

Wish I had of spotted this earlier but better late then never ay Wink

Mining at valid-errors pool with my 2.1 MH rig and only got 7k in 6 hours is this normal? The estimate said alot more yesterday and this seems very low for a billion circulation coin. Are these normal numbers or am I doing something wrong? I'm getting all accepts, very few rejects.

If anyone who is mining normally as advertised in the pool and wants to spread the love: 9kqJMKwHrEnUzAYyqBQR9KB9heqPSiw7nm.

Thanks for the feedback

Jup, noticed that too. The pool is working 15min on blocks that are diff 3. With 300mhash no way it could take so much time for a block.
