What is your setup? How are you connecting sgminer to your wallet? What errors do you get with p2pool? For P2Pool the "address" portion of your sgminer.conf will need to read "stratum+tcp://127.0.0.1:9175" for testnet to function.

My Setup is Windows 7 64 Bit with 12GB ram and 3x R9 290x.
AMD Catalyst ControlCenter is:
Version 2013.1206.1603.28764

In both szenarios i start vertcoin with testnet=1 and server=1

In soloming i connect my sgminer with

      "url" : "localhost:9332",
      "user" : "WhatEver",
      "pass" : "RandomNumber"

There I get no error, but only rejected blocks.

I start with:
run_p2pool.exe --net vertcoin --testnet

This seems to start fine.
It also have added an receive address labeled "p2pool" in vertcoin gui.

Then I start sgminer with that:

I start sgminer with:

Here I get accepted shares from the pool. Also on the website i can watch the hashrate.

PS:
i tried all 3 with starting sgminer with .bat file with setting variables:
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

Running (4) 750 ti's (Gigabyte GV-N75TOC-2GI) on Lyra2RE.

I am getting 555 kH/s to 580 kH/s per card with the default clocks and settings.

Has anyone else tested the 750 ti's?  Suggested settings?

you can increase the memory clock (as well as core clock, but memory clock is more important here)
I use +150MHz on core and +200MHz on memory clock, I get on my stock gainward 666khash/s (max)


new version for sgminer (it is based on latest sgminer5) so some of the problems (different setting for different cards not working )encountered should be fixed). It is also slightly faster (alternative groeslt function/blake256 in one round instead of two)
It is also optimised for 14.6 (I need to check how 14.4 performs though, if someone can test would be helpful)

This means there are 713 blocks to the fork.

Somebody asked yesterday if Vertigo - Vertcoin Lightweight Wallet will be updated for the Vertcoin fork.

Vertigo is going to be updated to the recent Vertcoin fork.

However some technical information details for implementation is needed to know, what needs to be updated, implemented to make the update.

Could somebody from Vertcoin developers provide details about the fork what needs to be updated and or possibly provide updated VertcoinJ library, please?

PS: VertcoinJ library is also used in Android Wallet.

I can help with forking VertcoinJ (it is based on my MegacoinJ, which is from my DigitalcoinJ, which is from BitcoinJ).  The problem will be getting a java version of the new hashing algorithm.

It appears that the dev behind the first android app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.schildbach.wallet.vertcoin) has left the building (as it were).

I have made some changes that may fix this issue.

Doesn't solve the Problem ... I think the problem is on my vertcoin qt, because I can't solomine testnet.
But i already cleaned hole %appdata% vertcoin folder and synced new.

I mine on pool first time, and try to solve it after fork ^^

My understanding is that some pools already switched to Lyra2 for testing purposes. They are working on the testnet.
They are intended to allow a smoother transition. When Lyra2 will kick in, they will be transparently switched to main network.

Contrary to what it was said a couple of months ago, it seems VTC will not go multi-algo.
