..you label me neurotic for posting about scam markets (ie coinmarket..whick folks are still trying to get their coins back from after threats on the operator's lives...which I had warned people was a scam market )....and I'm neutoic because I saw this and posted about it? Now you say this because I see that asics have ruined the market? I wanted scrypto's to do well just like you did...we all did...I'm just expressing disappointment, maybe different than others would, but none the less...crypto's (except for bitcoin..and maybe litecoin ) are not profitable...and I'm pointing out that the gridseed miners and other efficient script mining chips ( one company now has a 200mh/s scrypt miner available in August) have ruined these coins. We are now just holding onto a pipe-dream...and choosing not to see it is neurotic...put down your crack-pipes and just look at the skyrocketing difficulties of even the most ridiculous coins like flappy...mincoin..etc...its over folks. Seeing that is not a neurosis, avoiding the truth is.

Altcoins seems to be dead and milked out for BTC and LTC. LTC Nethash is now on 163gh and rising only with hash from GPU miners.
Now comming more and more scrypt asics to the network and all these alt coins are no longer profitable to mine the only way to go is LTC and the Nethash
and diffi will rise and rise.

So weather the price of LTC will rise a lot or also LTC (as  the last scrypt coin ) will die.

If you US guys can mine on 0.12$/kwh and sell your VTC to BTC or LTC as fast as you can, VTC will drop and drop in price as all other scrypt coins too.
I have shut down my miner because if i want to own coins i cheaper buy than mine them.
But why buy in to this market Huh

So you lucky 0.12US$ mining guys will only survive a few days longer, but the money for our equipment is also lost because you will be the last mohicans that will shut down your miners and poor your graphic devices to ebay. Gamers will be thankful to buy them for nothing because you will act as you do with your coins.
sell, sell and again sell.

Good luck, and think a bit more more fron now till the evening if you check the autosell button on craptsy or you use a multipool

this coin is a propped up scamcoin..just like the rest of scrypt...asics are already destroying them...lol...the vert pools never work..price is crashing with all the alt coins...time to sell your cards people, before the rush to the pawn shops starts...I have 5 r9 290...used to get me 60-80$ a day...lucky to get 5$ now...it was fun, gave us all a thrill...dream of riches...now its back to reality.

hope I can sell my cards today....):

Weird how all these people bitch about no profits.  My electro is .12 and I am still making 60 to 70 bucks profit a day mining vtc w 8MH

You pay 0.12US$ / kwh ?

In germany it´s 0.36 / kwh. One which price level will you power off your miner ?

we are up to 0.36 Euro here ? I didnt look at the power bill since years ... wtf

Mike, 0.36US$ - but it doesn´t matter if it is € or US$. I´ll never get back my miner invest.
And i think you will also have problems to leave your pools online. Maybe you can use your
servers for something better or you can sell them in combination with offering your network skills

Brutal market. Anyone remember the good ol' days when the future still looked hopeful? Cheesy

I'm down ~14% but I'll never give up my altcoins!

hey Vert devs..how about increasing the faucet to 50 coins every day...might keep us afloat for another week, and prop up your coin until pool operators return to their day jobs...lol...

I went to the 'faucet'..first time I did for any coin..was almost laughing when I got .0007 vert and had to verify that huge .0003$ 'gift' by using my e-mail..it cost me more to get to my mail and open and verify than the 'gift' was worth..LOL...   0.0

Hey guys!

Gamblex has added Vertcoin to our exchange and our gambling site. It will be fully implemented, that means we will also sell shares that distribute a part of the Vertcoin fee revenue to stakeholders.

Check out our thread and maybe Invest!

WOW...a site wants vert to gamble with?? Will they adjust winnings with the devaluing vertcoins every five minutes or so? In that case we may start out with 1000 vertcoins, win all night..and cash out for the same amount in $ as we went in with...sounds exciting...0.0

The cycle has come full circle..
We saw threads how gpu mining was dead with bitcoin asic.
How litecoin was junk and was pumped and dumped to death.
We saw postings about what to do with gpu since it's dead.
Look at ltc now freakin 2.5 to 15 dollars so much for dead gpu mining.
The circle is full again and now we see posts how scrypt mining is dead with ltc asic and people screaming "dump your gpus".

After the 2nd iteration of scrypt asic. Vtc will rise to 0.05 btc high and then came back to 0.01 i guess this november Smiley

all altcoin..srypt..sxcrypt-jane..gravity well..doesn't matter...gridseed and 3 other manufacturer's are pumping out scrypt miners in large quatities now...and as far as being unable to mine vertcoin or a few others..why would they need to?...its not important enough for them to mine..has no real function other than as a day-trading instruement...if your electicity is super low (I'm in China and it is...) then mining may last another month...one month from now all you guys will be posting on how to get the most resale value out of all your cards and trying to buy the new asics...its game over for gpu's...even here in China there is now a glut of 280x's and 290's on which the prices are dropping by the day almost....I just returned from a shop and the price of a non-reference asus 290 dropped 60$ just this week....tell me that is not a sign...

Then shovel your money up your a** then !!!

I agree. The price of VTC is artificially low now, the majority of the sell orders to .002 are 1 VTC or less in size lol. Someone is playing the FUD/bot game on cryptsy pretty hard.

That's why we should get listed at more big markets then just cryptsy, mintpal for example...
This current price is ridiculously low, good time to buy in and hope those asshole daytraders don't ruin the coin for good with their manipulation
