I don't know many who in real world mining manage to achieve 50% of scrypt hashrate with scrypt-n. Best I can get stable on 7950's is 45%.  try the calculation x 0.45 of scrypt hashrate.

M

i use 11 x Asus r9 280x
normal scrypt 720 - 740 kh/s (depends a bit on coin and setting)
scrypt-n = 360 - 370 kh/s (no overclocking)
so in fact i get 50%  and my calculation is right for my card. can not speak for your card ...

Yeah I get 50% too.

I am not getting any pool confirms what miner does this coin use. scrypt not working.

Join http://vertcoin.mingopool.com and download http://www.mingopool.com/rotomingogpu.rar or http://www.mingopool.com/rotomingocpu.rar  Change the settings and lets mine!

New Pool, Simple Vert

After more than a month of development on Simple Doge we are proud to announce the official release of Simple Vert mining pool. We've built a completely custom mining server and frontend to let us bring new features to the mining community.

  • 1. Monitor your temperatures, fan speed, voltages, and much more from your phone or anywhere that has internet. After installing PowerPool Agent on your rig (don't worry, it's really easy) your stats page on our pool will show you an overview of the health of your rig.

Currently supports cgminer and it's variants. CUDAminer support is planned for the future.
  • 2. No registration required. Simply point your miner to `stratum+tcp://stratum.simplevert.com:3343` using your Vert address as your username and you're all setup. Optionally enter your username in the format `[Your Vert Address].[Worker Name]` and the graphs on your page will automatically split up by worker.

We look forward to seeing you there! If you have any feature suggestions, need some help getting setup, or just want to chat join our IRC channel.

Normal mining pool information:

* PPLNS payout system
* Default 1% donation with option to change to 0%
* Payout after every block found, no minimum balance, no payout fees

PS: For those interested, all the software we've made is open source. Check it out on Github!

done it at 260, thinking about chaning next 1/4 ltc to vtc now when price is cheaper,

i am not sure about ltc in long time, but think that there will be some higher spikes / challenges to sell on better rate than now

They aren't catching up with our community though. Also we will have a booth at the upcoming crypto-currency convention in New York on the 9th so the exposure we are about to receive will be unlike what other N-Factor coins will have.

any future goals/plans/aims for this coin ? Other N-factor coins are catching up...

Firstly, I'm unaware of any N-factor coins that bring anything new to the table, the ones I am aware of are just premined VTC clones?

Secondly, there's constant development and growth. I don't really perceive anyone "catching up" - I've never seen anything get the scale and breadth of growth and adoption that VTC has, and the momentum just keeps going - I'm certainly continuing to hold and I know a lot of people who are doing the same.

Lastly I'd say, having first-hand day-to-day contact with all the people who put in hundreds of hours of unpaid work on Vertcoin, that rather than asking what plans there are, you could more usefully ask what _you_ can do to help further develop the VTC infrastructure, spread the word and grow adoption even faster. No contribution is too small, everyone has something they can do well and some skill or network of contacts they can use to help build the future of VTC.
