If total network stuck and you want to help your coin you should mine this coin at CoinMine.pw. If you will find current block with difficulty 11.7 you will have next blocks with low difficulty. Coin is disabled from auto switcher and you can mine this coin alone.

If I still had KDC (lost them when coinmarket shut down), I would wait until the price fluctuations might indicate a pump is near, and eventually one of those times it will happen and boom you can at least cut some losses.
