The Altcoin i'm very bullish on is FantasyGold.io because it already has working products, has been around since last year (was DFScoin, rebranded for Masternodes) and has a very hard working dev team that communicate with their investors through Discord. I will be holding this much longer then 1 year, with a low cap and once people catch on to the work they're doing this will moon.

Top coin in the CMC list is safe choice.
If you think the time is like a year, there are many choice, currently, the market is down, you just find the coin with high price at peak time to buy and keep. When the market go back, price will raise again.
Another suggestion is to find a good Masternode, if the price do not raise during the time, you still get a good return coin based.

The whole crypto-currencies trading market is still in a pretty bad shape at the moment, I guess this bearish market might continue for a long period of time, the values of bitcoin needs to recover first before most altcoins could follow suit to see an increase in their values.
