Can someone explain why this has gone up so much over the last month? I really don't get it. Is it one big pump? What % is owned by the core team? Why are people not selling? Do the core control 90% of coins like with shadow?

Do some homework man, if you can't find many positive reasons as to why the price is going upwards so quickly then don't buy lol there're plenty of reasons to buy right now, in fact its your mistake if you don't imo anyway.

DGB is keep climbing in slow motion without letting many people know much. I think people busy with other things will pay attention here when it will be already at more higher. It can next Ripple I don't doubt anymore about anything like DGB. It looks awesome just look at the performance overall.

DGB will go higher this last months, we will see it breaking the 900sats resistance and aiming for 5000sats , remember, 1$ is the goal, so is just matter of time and patience to hold your DGB until that happen.
i do really love this coin, more because theres so much interesting techs around him, the gaming site, transsactions are damn fast, soon digusign...its going to be an interesting year for DGB
dgb is very good coin for investment now its gaining more ghs speed on network and the goal for 1$ is very easy to achieve for this coin and in the end of this year i am prett sure its price will more then 1$ True.

I can't find any answers to the gaming situation either. Maybe they're abandoning the gaming idea??

I don't like any coin that is not minable. There is a problem with too much central control. DGB is minable, has multiple algos, the Dev and team are still hustling with new tech advancements and trying to incorporate this system into daily life. Digusign, gaming, Segwit, other security and documentation applications... who knows what else. One thing people don't realize is that you don't tell your whole story until you blow up. I imagine that Jared, the business-minded individual he appears to be, is holding back a thing or two for the right time. A dev who sticks around this long isn't going to give it all up for 2 cents per coin when the market potential is so much greater. FUDs and haters are everywhere.

The distribution isn't that good as 90% of the coins is on Poloniex, bittrex and the top address with 1.8 billion coins, however dgb has the backing of some individuals with deep bitcoin pockets. We could see this coin go 2000 sat. I am saying this after having sold everything below 800 but I made a load of bitcoin myself and looking for the next gem like dgb.

There is better coins now to invest in when digibyte is at these prices. Investing now can make you 100% - 150% profit max in the next year.

I can't find any answers to the gaming situation either. Maybe they're abandoning the gaming idea?? not sure if this is the right place to ask this but is digibytegaming.com still having some problems on payout from playing games?
A note on DigiByte Gaming: As announced several months ago payouts were and still paused. We received notice yesterday from Microsoft security center the site was being DDOS'd and we had to shut it down until we can repair it and do our planned upgrades or we risked losing our entire hosting package and all our other services. For those complaining about the site please note we paid out millions of DigiBytes in 2016 and early 2017 to gamers. This was all out of our own pocket to help spread the word about DigiByte. This is obviously not a sustainable model for anyone, especially at current prices. The site was completely free. We initially planned on having advertisers foot the bill for the DGB paid out but we were not able to bring any advertisers on board in time. Given the nature of cryptocurrency, this was very confusing to most groups we talked to. However, now we are entering a different era and more potential business partners are paying attention. We will be actively pursuing this strategy. Once we get regrouped and get the site restructured it will be a service geared for gamers with many of the features it had before and some new ones. Gaming is for sure still on the roadmap. In the mean time we are having some great success with DiguSign. Stay tuned for more upcoming news! Edit: It is important to note that we had several security issues with the games themselves that we could not protect ourselves from. People were able to alter the game code on their computers directly and cheat the payout system.

Hello, Can someone tell me how to make a paper wallet? Or could i type any command in my DGB desktop wallet to show me the private key? that would be the same? Thank you.
any answer to this? The first paper wallet generator popped up in 2014 and it looks like it is still online: https://www.dgbaddress.org/The GitHub repo is here: https://github.com/patricklodder/dgbaddress.org.gitA quick google search also returned: https://walletgenerator.net/?currency=DigiByteNote: Use at your OWN RISK We have not tested these services, nor can we vouch for their integrity. We would love to get people's feedback on using the above. We stopped pushing paper wallets on new users in 2014 as new people found them very confusing. Especially when it came to importing a wallet. Because with bitcoin there is 1000's of wallets that support private key import already. Why we can't have a wallet that does that too?
Ok, so I have tested this online wallet generator that will function as a paper wallet. http://i65.tinypic.com/whh5av.pngI sent this address 10 DGB (well 9.8 DGB after the exchange/transaction fee), which can be seen here. https://digiexplorer.info/address/D9ickuSyeExtYiUqe7P5gnbdeY87PTKAD6https://digiexplorer.info/tx/88eac49d3ab7b63d196683269be86e85ba710cdec4acd3eaaafc6bd6b725c837To import the wallet you have to go via the debug console. (Help → Debug Console → Console) In there type in “importprivkey <DGBPrivateKey>”. The private key is the bit that I have blanked out in the picture above. That will then import the address into your wallet and then re-scan the block chain for any funds. This re-scan will take a while (It took 15 mins on my PC). You will then have access to that address within your wallet. http://i63.tinypic.com/1zx199w.jpgTo then prove that I can then send from this address I sent 5 DGB from it. https://digiexplorer.info/tx/2be94d83296b4326a79572143e4559ef96224f805f5a0896778e969eb9882269So, yes, it does work . Please note this was all done on the latest version of the wallet (v6.14.2). Also, never give anyone your private key as they will be able to do the above and steal your DGB!

can you tell me where the coins are stored? I mean, where are the coins stored normally in a paper wallet? on a 3rd party? They are "stored" in the blockchain like every other crypto currency. All any wallet does is give you access to a certain address within the blockchain. This is why keeping the private key safe is important as it gives access to the public address, and thus the coins. All you need to do is gen an address on the website and sync the wallet. If you really want to test it, send me the public address that it generates and I'll send a coin to it and you can go through the steps I outlined to make sure the process works.
