When you lack of luck... you lack of luck!

This is my story, the story of a guy who has already believe in DGB and who was holding approximately 2300000 DGB for 2 years and a half. Unjobless for several months, I had to sell my DGB in november 2016 for a price of approximately 800€. Now, the explosion of DGB combined to the one of BTC just killed me : 2300000 DGB is worth now 93000€.

I want to kill myself. Because of poverty, I had to sell my DGB... the only digital currency I had faith on. Sad life... really, sad life...

Well in the pump and dump world Digibyte was gonna sign a contract with CitiBank tomorrow and they had a deal with Microsoft on minecraft.
Very little is true when reading this forum. But that is why ppl bought into DGB in the last weeks.

I haven't read/seen anything about a deal with Microsoft. A Digibyte server will launch tomorrow:

Quote
The Minecraft DigiByte server will be housed at Mine That Digi and it’ll be launched on the 10th of June, 2017. That’ll coincide with the event taking place on the 9th with Citi.

The reason this Minecraft announcement has caught on in the crypto-hype market is its perfect timing with the two events mentioned above. Minecraft Marketplace with Minecraft Coins launched this week on Bedrock Platforms, and DigiByte (official) is going to make a presentation at a Citi event.

Sad truth is that MineThatDigi isn't creating a Minecraft Marketplace. It's using Digibyte as a faucet, similar to PlayMC (which offers the same experience with a Bitcoin faucet. [PS. Nobody plays on it]). The Minecraft server offers nothing revolutionary for either Minecraft players or Crypto enthusiasts. Sad, but the truth. Still looking forward to the launch of the server.

Message from Jared:

Digi Tater [3:45 AM]
We have made several great connections with several people at Citi, MasterCard, PwC and Microsoft. As well as some government authorities. We have several meetings setup.
Hello everyone! So a great company with advanced facial recognition was selected today. However we are still in the running for over 30 awards in July presented in Washing DC.
They will continue to introduce us to new clients and future partners. All the main major global awards have not been announced yet. These will be announced in July.

would be good if Jared made a post or a tweet about it, might slow down the crazy dumpers lol.

It's Jared who's dumping.  Cheesy

So what would receiving an award/price for Digusign mean for the value of Digibyte the coin. The two have nothing in common. One ois a way of sending data on the blockchain, the other is a sort of attention token or whatever you want to call it. They pitched Digusign.

Who can tell me where, other than speculation, would the value for DGB come from? Or is DGB just what stock is for normal companies. Cash cow to keep development for blockchain services going?HuhHuhHuh?

Isn't DGB what XRP is for the Ripple Network....--> as in the network/blockchain is handy (the services on top of it), but they coin itself is rather useless. Banks can drop XRP and use the Ripple network as can companies drop DGB and use Digusign...the two are not tied to each other like for example waves on the waves platform

digusign service is not free, people who use digusign need to pay service 0.5-2 dgb/tx (Depending on the developer policy). when company is using it mean they need to buy digibyte for payment. it is not only company, goverment for ID, healthcare recording, financial service, insurance, real esatates and many others use digusign as smartcontract. can you image how big impact from application digusign in the world for digibytecoin? 21billion coin is not enought to cover this service. we know only one-third of it is on the market, and mostly held by traders

Smart contract use cases in industry and country (remember country)

Ok, thanks for the clarification. But what if the hording of DGB's or the more profitable use of DGB's (in speculation) undermines the service to be sold (Digusign). I mean how can you run a service on a blockchain that is either 1. fueled by a very volatile coin or 2. backed by a coin so valuable in fiat that it would be too expensive to use it for the service it is used for.....

The service would run much smoother with a new private token (not tradable on an exchange) for Digusign users. Token bought @ the company instead of being dependent on a highly speculative coin with potentially a too high value...

Using a private token would undo the main benefit of blockchain, that it is highly distributed and not able to be manipulated. If you can manipulate the blockchain because it is being run on a small private network, it increases the risk of a "bad player". What you are suggesting sounds more like a centralized database run by one company.

That looks awesome. Guess the next few days are going to be exciting for DGB holders!

Jared can't even keep Digibyte Market's simple DGB-based shopping cart working, much less be bothered to shut down the site when it starts stealing money.

Yet he feels entitled to run Citi's identity project?

LAAAAWWWWL G. T. F. O.  That's never going to happen.  Not in a million years.

Don't believe me?  Go to https://www.digibytemarket.com/ and try to buy something.  You will spend your coins and get nothing in return.

If you try to use the online Help option, it fails.  If you email info@digibytemarket.com it won't even acknowledge getting the email.

That (along with the abandoned and probably insolvent Digibyte Gaming platform) is the essence of DGB.

This is why you should learn to walk before trying to run.  If you don't, you trip and smash your face all over the sidewalk.  Tongue

The coin should be renamed DinduByte or perhaps DingyByte.   Cheesy

1. Citi is running Citi's Identity project. What are you talking about Jared is trying to run it "LAAAAWWWWL" Cheesy

2. Not going to argue that the marketplace shouldn't be disabled.

3. By commenting on the gaming site it's obvious that you haven't even been reading the thread.

Go back to pumping Hashfast scams buddy.

Per Jared in case you missed it;

"Please note we have received thousands of messages across bitcointalk, twitter, telegram, Reddit & email this past week and we are trying to respond to people's questions and concerns as quickly and orderly as possible. We also have a few of us traveling at the moment preparing for upcoming events and meetings.

We are working to consolidate marketing & tech information for new people in one place on digibyte.co. Organizing a new team, hiring people and preparing a new coordinated marketing strategy will take some time.

We have had our heads down coding away on several projects up until this point. You must have the technology ready before people can use it. We are just about there now and are going to be shifting gears as well as expanding several projects and the team. Stay tuned and thank you all for supporting DigiByte."
