I loved digibytes until I realize it is premined like hell. I still love it and mine too, but less. I think it is great coin.. I have good feeling from it, and I was stayed with it even if it looked lost last weeks. BTW, write more info about digishield at first page because I have no idea what it is.

all these ppl selling. i'm buying as much as i can. this is only the start of a very long ride
and why you will say if you are wrong? I think that 150% gain is good enough. Why risk more than necessary . Now is your chance buy and make profit. You could buy as much as you could at 50sat. Why you buying now for 110+? Because the coin is worth way more than 110. Its funny that people were complaining when prices are low. Now that prices are going up, people are still complaining lol. coin was worth 200+at beginning then fall to around 60. So I think 140 is pretty good price for someone who buy and mine at 60sat. Do not judge people for dumping... it is just your gain. I made 120% profit.. it is good. Sure, it's decent profits, but you are speaking to people that believe in this coin. What happened in the last 24 hours means very little when looking at the big picture. It started lower, then went up. Then down. Then up. Then down again. Then up. Then it went down over a longer period, which almost all coins launched at the same time suffered. Even LITECOIN suffered. I like to compare DGB with USDe. Released a day apart with great community support. If we're just looking at the value, who is and has been winning as of lately? Also keep in mind that DGB has a larger total coin supply! Compare DGB with any coin released in the same time period, which was a very hectic one when it comes to new scrypt coins, and ask yourself which coin is "performing" best? Even though DGB didn't offer much new besides a professional and dedicated dev team, it still did really well. Now that there are big things happening to this coin, it can separate itself from the category "scrypt-clone" which people tend to put it in, and do what the devs intended when they spent over a month planning this. I believe that it boils down to bad timing, release wise. Let's see where we're at in a month or ten, shall we?

Look at how many MILLIONS they GAVE away... Oh, and look at the developer account which is basically UNTOUCHED. They are as transparent as they can get and this coin is not a clone>pump>dump scheme. Premined doesn't automatically mean something negative. They couldn't have handled the premine any better. Heck, they didn't even bribe exchanges to get listed... Brb, cleaning my shining e-armor.

We understand your concern and respect your opinion on the matter, but understand a few other things. Without the pre-mine we would not be able to develop and be as committed as we are right now. The 0.5 % premine is now effectively less than 0.25% and is very small compared to other coins. The Premine allows for: 1) Server Expenses 2) Development Costs 3) Advertising Costs 4) Will help pay for expenses related to the Crypto Convention in New York 5) Labor expenses Most importantly, the premine giveaway in the first two weeks allowed us to get DigiBytes in several thousand wallets world wide. You motivate people to download a wallet when you give part of a premine away. We gave over half away in the first few weeks. Now we use the rest for continued development. These initial steps helped separate us from most of the other coins launched around the same time. Launching a successful coin is not cheep. Why should we work 12-16 hours a day, sometimes 7 days a week for nothing?

Premine carries a negative connotation, and for good reason. In this case, you should look deeper and realize it was mostly used for the benefit and development of the community.

These initial steps helped separate us from most of the other coins launched around the same time. Launching a successful coin is not cheep. Why should we work 12-16 hours a day, sometimes 7 days a week for nothing? but it do not work in this sick cryptoworld. If somebody believe in any coin, he is doomed. Now you could see many people buy coin up to 150sat and now it is under 100. Why? because they want to make easy profit. They do not believe this coin like we did. That is what I am talking about. So do not judge people for dumping. They do not believe this coin or just want to make some profit. I did not get a single digibyte from giveaways. Personally I think giveaways are most stupid things, because if somebody get money for free=insta-dump. I do not think somebody must be motivated to start mine some coin.. Many people mine every shitcoin at release. If you want transparent coin, just write how much you paid for development, advert. etc. at first page. Exact numbers for exact things. It will help thrust in this coin.

You might as well give up on that one, they clearly are not going to add DGB for some reason, they have added loads of coins lately and ones with less market value.

We have sent them several message and we have yet to receive a single response. We have offered to pay any fees for their time or trouble. Still no response. We have absolutely no idea what they have against DigiByte.

Launching a successful coin is not cheep. Why should we work 12-16 hours a day, sometimes 7 days a week for nothing? I'm sure. And I like the coin and how you are trying to be different. I push the coin as professional. AND PERSONALLY, I am fine with this particular coins pre-mine. HOWEVER, you do have to recognize that A. premine has become a negative term in the community. B. coins can launch without a premine and be very successful, very fast.. even more so today now premine is not palatable to many people. C. cryptsy is less likely to add a coin with a major premine. I get coins have to make money, perhaps VC Cash would be a better idea, than premine. and yeah i get many of the non premine coins are all copy paste jobs.. but they are trading better, and have more miners and are doing better. Pretty much every single coin without a premine, released AFTER digibytes is doing better ATM. Of course new coins depend on this limited community while long term efforts depend more on the normal world. I'm just saying there are legit concerns and issues with all premined coins, that being said yall are the most transparent on the issue thus far.
