Give away Digibytes to everybody? Let people tweet about Digibyte, Get pictures out of the expo & reward them. I know this is a short time period but this expo Digibyte really need's to shine!!
I'm willing to donate and i'm shure more are willing to.

@Digibyte, How are you attending the expo? Is it possible to do a give away? Maybe you could create a wallet so we could donate and then make a sort of "to-do list" to get the free digilove?
-Make a picture of the Digibyte stand. -Get a tweet out mentioning Digibyte. -Say hi at this thread with youre tweet in it.
Receive free Digibyte.
Make a bonus reward for the one with the best/most funny/creative picture.
Just some thinking.

24hr, A giveaway is a great idea! At this point since the Android wallet is not completed (speaking of which, does anyone know any good Android developers, we have now not had contact with our Android dev for a month) we will have to use a desktop wallet. We will be making tweets during the event and will provide feedback to everyone here. At the China BTC expo we will not have a booth and we will not be speaking but we will be walking around networking as well as handing out DigiByte stickers. We really want to get a feel for how to best enter the Chinese marketplace as it is the largest. This will be the first major event in China. We will be speaking at & attending the B2B Congress in Brussels on October 17th. So we are very excited to make some great European contacts there as well: http://btc2b.com/We have also received word that the London October 22nd crypto currency convention has been canceled so we will not be attending that one: http://www.cryptocurrencyconvention.com/london/

Let's tweet, email and spread the word. Jared and the team will be at the conference and it would be a great move to add DGB! YC Does anyone have contacts at BTER.com or BTC38.com? One thing I have noticed is that DGB does not have a deep Asian presence where there could be a lot more flow of folks purchasing and getting involved in DGB.
Any ideas? I am more than happy to reach out to the owners as well if there is a way to access them.
YC
The owner of btc38 will be in expo, also jared.. They must talk https://twitter.com/Alttrade/status/511813487803125760BTC38 tweet, FAV,RT.

★★ DigiByte v3.0.2 Coming Soon!★★ We have decided to release a version 3.0.2 wallet after the BTC China expo. This wallet will feature two main changes and will require mining pools to update: 1) A standardized Chinese name for "DigiByte" in the DGB wallet. We will be asking several native Chinese speakers at the conference what the proper translation for "DigiByte" into Chinese characters should be. Once we decide on the correct characters we will put it into the wallet. This will dramatically help DigiByte enter the Chinese market place. 2) We will be issuing a fix for the Scrypt block issue as well as the daemon rejection issue several pools are experiencing. In the mean time we would like some feedback & help testing this fix. A big shout-out to Thrassos for pointing this out and helping us figure out this issue! The Scrypt block & daemon rejection issue:Scrypt blocks are being rejected do to this code: "if (block.nVersion < 2)" https://github.com/digibyte/DigiByteProject/blob/1dda53450ca9b2d0aad767007f01f12578b7f39e/src/main.cpp#L2576 // Reject block.nVersion=1 blocks when 95% (75% on testnet) of the network has upgraded: if (block.nVersion < 2) { if ((!TestNet() && CBlockIndex::IsSuperMajority(2, pindexPrev, 950, 1000)) || (TestNet() && CBlockIndex::IsSuperMajority(2, pindexPrev, 75, 100))) { return state.Invalid(error("AcceptBlock() : rejected nVersion=1 block"), REJECT_OBSOLETE, "bad-version"); } } The fix should be simple by changing BLOCK_VERSION_DEFAULT from 1-2. If anyone knows of any issues we might see with this please let us know. https://github.com/digibyte/DigiByteProject/blob/master/src/core.h#L30{ // primary version BLOCK_VERSION_DEFAULT = 2,
// algo BLOCK_VERSION_ALGO = (7 << 9), BLOCK_VERSION_SHA256D = (1 << 9), BLOCK_VERSION_GROESTL = (2 << 9), BLOCK_VERSION_SKEIN = (3 << 9), BLOCK_VERSION_QUBIT = (4 << 9), }; The github account has been updated with this change. If we could get some mining pools to test this change & report back it would be much appreciated! Thank you all!

Maybe when you give a sticker to someone you could tell them how to receive the free digibyte. I'm willing to handle the give away. (if there is no time to do it by you guys) -Take a good picture of the Digibyte sticker. -Tweet it. -Say hi in this thread. Then i can "verify" the person and send the digibyte. If everybody is oke with this offcourse. About the Android wallet. Maybe you could ask bryce? I'm sure he knows someone. Speaking at the B2B congress is a really good step to do! Europe is getting bigger and bigger talking about crypto currencies. i'm sure some big business people will be around. Oh yeah and it's close to where i live so maybe come and say Hi! 24

I might have another solution to the giveaway, depending on if the dev team likes it and how quickly we can put together the coins. Prypto has a new "product" out as of a couple weeks ago - digital-only QR redemption codes. I put "product" in quotes because really these are just the scratchcards without the physical card. Prypto puts together the wallets and then sends you back links to where they can be redeemed. Here's a link to a sample code they released on Twitter. There's no way we could get physical cards designed, printed and shipped to the team by.. what, Friday?.... but if we act quickly we could probably get the codes put together in time. (I think. I'll talk to HQ this morning about it.) The codes can be emailed, PM'd, Twitter'd, Instagram'd, whatever to the person whom coins need to go to AND they'll be held securely indefinitely until the recipient can get hands on a wallet. The codes have a minimum order size of 1000(!) which is admittedly a lot, but it will keep the dev team in handouts for a long time to come and, given more lead time on later conventions, they can print the codes directly on other DGB promotional material if desired. Codes can be set to contain any amount of coin you wish - for this I would recommend 200 DGB each, like the DOGE tip cards. Cost would then be as shown below (set for DOGE because it was faster to show, but the numbers remain the same). Note that "Reseller Rate" is NOT a cut for me. Prypto's profit per card/code order is a percentage of cost based on how much any given reseller orders per 90-day period. I would not take a profit for helping with this particular order and am willing to pitch in both DGB and BTC to the effort.

If Digibyte is fine with this and have the funds to go with it i really think this is a good option. Willing to send 75.000 dgb (if needed more) and some btc to get this started. Edit: Maybe we need to organize this better @ the b2b in brussels,with the prypto cards. And for now just gather some DGB and go with "plan A" the easy way i mentioned before. When there is some reall "investment" to be made, better do it good and give people something they can hold. (a prypto card)
