Yeah, it's easy to forget that the number of blocks mined each day stays constant regardless of the number of miners mining. The value of the coin is not a constant however - as we all too painfully well know - and as more miners (and investors) get involved, that constant number of DGB blocks mined every day gets split into smaller pieces of the pie for everyone, which should, in turn, logically push price higher as it becomes more scarce for interested parties, and, thusly, more valuable.

What is the blocks per-day figure? Any one know offhand?

30 Second Blocks (2.5 Min per Algo), as seen in the Coin Facts section of the OP (perhaps this kind of information needs a more prominent presence), translates into 2880 theoretical total blocks, 576 for each algo, each day.

I didn't receive any payouts from digihash.co for 3 days. Does someone have any infos about that  

Which algorithm were you mining on? So far Scrypt & Sha256 are the only algos to discover blocks on DigiHash.

We just restarted the DigiHash pool and it appears there was some pending Scrypt pay outs that just were pushed out.

What do you think about mandatory identification (pool name, or solo miner's IP address) in the "Mined by" column?

Nonces are not running out rare. It happend all the time.

What linearIntensity are you using?

The web interface crashes in general. I start the miner and after that i enable the webinterface.
If i copy the url (because in IE dont work) and paste it into FF miner immediately after getting response from webinterface miner crashes.

That's indeed very interesting. I've had this problem very sporadically but I never managed to reproduce. I suspected this happened because of my AV but so far I never managed to get a grasp on this problem it is just too rare on my system.

IE will not be supported. FF is the only browser committing to be a serious application platform with Mozilla doing an almost awesome job at documentation. It is the only browser I will officially support. Some concessions are made to desktop Webkit.

ycagel, you're absolutely correct. I was incorrectly reading my own chart! I was looking at the block reward numbers on the left instead of the money supply numbers on the right. Silly mistake. I even had to go back to the original spread sheet before I realized my error. We are indeed already above 10%.

While I'm at it, with the spread sheet opened and all, we are on target to have around 3,656,372,503.55569 DGB in circulation for DigiByte's first birthday, around 8,806,865,544.71951 for its 2nd birthday, 11,926,881,962.4078 for its 3rd birthday, 13,816,895,669.609 for its 4th birthday, 14,961,810,097.9938 for #5, and as you can intuit by the numbers here, and by looking at the chart, the yearly production falls below 1 billion after year 5, and over 70% of total projected DGB will already be in circulation by that time - but it will still be very profitable to mine since it will be worth well over $5 by then.    

That was a big oversight, but everything else I said was/is correct: this is forever, the number of blocks found is a constant, and it's only the 0.5% regularly scheduled subsidy reduction that causes the amount mined to decrease over time.

 No worries. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy. So the initial thought that we will be between 3-4B by the end of the year is still accurate, which means that 20-25% of the total supply will be in circulation. In addition, whether it is 24 or 44 or 64 satoshi, the price is so attractive based on where things are. Looking down the road, it will be a shock that the currency was even trading at these levels. I would love to buy some so I can be like the "stars" on here.

Lastly, for the time being if BTC goes up, the average price of your investment in DGB averages down, which is pretty neat.

No prob YC. Please don't let the hypersensitive world we live in – where simply confirming figures might be viewed as offensive – keep you from asking tough questions. I made an honest mistake, and if it weren't for your question, not only I, but everyone else reading along, would have continued our merry way ignorant of our error. We need tough questions, and honest answers as well, of course – something that's very painfully absent in, not only the crypto world, but also modern society in general and as a whole . . . so much so that we even confuse rudeness with simply wanting to get things right.
