With respect to this coin, please allow me to say this: USDE desperately needs to get on a major exchange, such as cryptsy being the top candidate. Current minor exchanges are choking the life out of this coin. Being spread out around so many minor and unstable exchanges is not an advantage - it dilutes demand and supply, and is actually bad for a coin in the long term. Greater publicity and greater interest generated by steady work of our good developers is also necessary and should coincide with anticipated listing on cryptsy. This coin is multi-pool resistant, and is scrypt based. That counts for something. Combined with efforts devs have already put into this coin, it should signal a good time to burst it out into the open and bring its potential to the full view of the public instead of being buried in the sub-sub forum here. Right now, being buried here and also not being visible enough due to lack of 'right' kind of publicity (do anything - there is little such thing as bad publicity) is suffocating demand. #1, ensure cryptsy listing. #2, ensure USDE coin gets the publicity it deserves. #3, if necessary, recruit a whale or big investors to gradually and naturally increase the value of this coin. Remember, without demand, all coins are doomed no matter how noble the intention of the devs are. Eventually this can go the way of earthcoin with burned out and frustrated devs who in the end need some kind of return of their investment to see the worth in a coin. We don't live on ideas alone. We live on bread too. USDE already has ideas and values. Let's bring in some bread and propel this coin to its rightful place in the top 10 of coinmarketcap listing and beyond  HP Lets try this.. go to https://www.mintpal.com/voting and vote for USDe to be listed. if we can't make it on Mint then theres no chance of us making it on Cryptsy.. like you said exchange sites like Mintpal is minor right? so it should be easy to be listed there right? lets give it a world.. lets put our selves to the test. right now USDe Has about 842 votes Trollcoin has about 4999 votes and beating us by 4157 votes kittehcoin has about 8800 votes and beating us by 7958 votes FlappyCoin (the newest coin that just release few days ago) has about 3833 and beating us by 2991 votes Put yourself in Big verns shoes.. he gets countless and countless of emails everyday from supporters like us asking to add whatever coin that we're supporting. Big vern is looking for a coin thats being backed up by big communities. In his eyes USDe is just like every other Altcoin. The name itself doesn't sell.. the community sells. So instead of begging or bargain ourway to cryptsy. lets try proving ourselves and to Bigvern that we are a community of dedication. I agree with you. Crypsty is where its at but for right now we need a more stable market. We are very eager to share some positive news with you. A secure USDe online wallet, supporting all mobile platforms is in the works. A USD --> USDe exchange and our first online store are also under development. We are working on rebranding USDe to feature the Lady Liberty - so if you'd like to contribute and send us some of your ideas for a Web Site mockup, coin logo, sketches, layout and generally high quality graphics, please feel free to share. First, make sure you backup your wallet in AppData\USDE --- then you should be able to safely extract the new zip and run the new USDE.exe. That's all you need to update. i've downloaded the wallet from the web site.. i just replace the old one? sorry i'm not as smart when it comes to zip files and such.. |
