This coin looked really promising at start, then lost it's momentum... Right marketing can still raise this coin to 400 satoshi range... But somehow the marketing part is dying... Also no major exchanges till now is also hurting the coin.. Hope the USDe community will find that positive mood again..

+1 Should hire more professional guy to do the marketing stuff, otherwise we'll soon be playing with ourselves, and soon be forgotten. Look at the diff and hashrate now. After the dev's issue, we are losing momentum, seriously, guys. I am still holding a lof of USDe and hope it will rise one day. But please do something!! I am more than willing to contribute part of my USDe to make it happen.

Or just switch to putting all your pools and settings in a cgminer.conf file, then your bat file just needs to start cgminer with a single option flag, like

cgminer -c /path/toyour/cgminer.conf

Soooo much easier if you like to jump between coins and pools

We need this thread to be a hive, it's very quiet in here.

Plus the price drop, if that buy wall goes the price will fall even more.

I am not worried about the buy wall or price dropping. There are now a few reasonable walls around 170.
I think it is all about getting more people interested in mining USDe.

Edit: I see Steadymining is up again, lets hope it stays up

Hey, I am not worried. Current price 170 sat. The coin will hit a large(ish) exchange like Cryptsy. It will be pumped for the first few hours to 400-500 sat. The large miners will sell and it will go down to 90-100 sat. It will then slowly rise to above 170. I cannot say exactly where obviously, but this is not Earthcoin which has way more coins than USDe. Perhaps it will settle at between 250-300 sat for the next month or so.

USDE should be worth between 800 and 1000 satoshi to be within top 25, which is where it belongs.

The market is thin right now. If we get some interest in, and some whales to pump this thing, that's entirely within reason.

Be more active on twitter. Show price progression. Many of our coins are in circulation, but USDE is very much undervalued, not to mention 1/8 number of coins as earth coin. Rising ten fold is not impossible at all - in fact, that's the way it should be expected to go.

Updates from the USDe Development Team

We would like to remind everyone that we're coming up on 1 month of USDe's existence.  Yes, we have had a few bumps in the road, but none of them will prevent us from continuing and reaching our goals.  A lot of our users will undoubtedly come across lots of new coins that are released in the meantime, some may even be legitimate, but please remember that USDe is not a joke, abandon, or pump and dump coin, but a project, which we are actively developing and shaping to compete with the same fiat currencies that you convert your cryptocurrency coins into.  

We are very far from USDe's value at maturity and are working on securing a big investment into our project.  This thread has been a little quieter than usual, but this isn't at all a reflection of the continued interest in USDe.  We realize that some in our community measure success by the amount of chatter that happens on this thread - and therefore if anyone of our more vocal supporters would like to take a more active role in keeping things alive here at bitcointalk, please e-mail team@usd-e.com, so we can discuss.

A few highlights of the things we're working on:

• New Windows wallet - should be released in the next 24-48hrs
• Updates to the Web Site, including publishing of first blogs
• Securing appropriate partnerships and connections to bring about tangible services and places where USDe can be spent and traded for goods and services
• SEO / Internet-based marketing and press exposure is underway, and is being handled by a professional marketing company
• By the end of next weekend / Monday, you should expect a big, positive surprise - we may be able to share more details on what it is either on Friday or Saturday
