I know, it is a good training. We are watching our articles so we can react and add comments there. I am using NxtMyths texts for responses, then Damelon wisely responds too... and others. We just need to calm Uniqueorn a little bit Cheesy

Really, even IF the other guy turns out to be a f*cktard, the thing to do is to shut up and close the screen.
Responding in kind is not the way to go, at least if you are there to promote or explain Nxt.
If otherwise, always say it's your own opinion, otherwise people WILL use it against us.

Some people are just dying to get you angry and using it as a weapon. It's such a tried and tested tactic, we are bound to encounter it.

Also, that one hour of reddit and just one link to my site got tons of hits from reddit.

Even a simple reply can get a reaction behind the scenes that we don't see directly.

People, also DOGE people, áre very interested. Some probably will never say so on DOGE reddit, because of Peer pressure.

Excellent!

you should share your little intro chimes with him.

I did, joefox uses my open and close in the second one, and will use it in all the subsequent ones, but the first one needed a slightly different opening to introduce the whole thing.

Or were you referring to the music? I used The Arrival by General Fuzz: http://www.generalfuzz.net/tunes.php
NxtChg commented that it sounds like a viagra commercial though, and I think he has a point. joefox's music is a decent neutral background for presenting news, and is enough to create a recognizable atmosphere for the segment.

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

I plan to use General Fuzz in the full podcast but not in the 1-minute bits because I can't properly give credit (the music I use in the 1-min bits is royalty-free and paid for). I'd be happy to compensate a bit for using Fuzz in the full 'cast!

Hi everyone.

How about these for a couple of proofs of concept?  Two one-minute spots I recorded this evening:

General Nxt intro: https://soundcloud.com/whatsupnxt/nxtminute-0001
Nxt minute: https://soundcloud.com/whatsupnxt/nxtminute_0002

I welcome feedback.

These sound great and this is an excellent project!

Hello all,

Based on the discussions today in the main thread, and here, I've got two updated "Nxt Minute" bits.  I've based the text on the "most-optimized" one thus far, and have taken a stab at a more conversational tone.

Links:

Nxt Minute #1 (the general intro):  https://soundcloud.com/whatsupnxt/nxtminute-0001
Nxt Minute #2:  https://soundcloud.com/whatsupnxt/nxtminute-0002

Yup, that sounds like a winner. I think you´ve got it nailed.

I found it handy to reduce the volume of the music in the center of the listening field by 3 dB. This allows the music to be a little louder while leaving lots of room for the voiceover. I can send you the modified file, or you can do it yourself in your DAW. I use Reaper (free to download), and it's really easy to do in Reaper: right-click on the pan control for the track, override the default pan-law and choose -3dB.

A friend of me asks if there is a bounty for making a Turkish website about NXT.

I couldn't answer him. Can you help me with an answer?

Thanks.

General question about our campaign: how are we going to "work" the release of nexern's client? Tbh I hardly know anything about it...

Do we know something about it that we can send out the coming days as teasers?

If not, maybe we should nag nexern  Wink

Edit: just browsed through some of nexern's post. I'll see if I can cobble a list of PR things together tomorrow. I'll try to double check with nexern if he's not too busy

It's not about a client. Who cares if some crypto has got some new client, except us. The main focus is on features. Can we provide any new features (in new client)? How useful are they? What can we do with them? Can we compare them with other cryptos?

Right now a user friendly client is the main barrier to entry.
Sure, it is our starting flag. A timeline. To invite more people. But we don't say - look at our cool client. We say - you can do this and this.

What do you want to know?  It's kinda a big topic.  I can lay out some info but it would help to know what your areas of interest are (e.g. are you an investor, a programmer, a politician...?)

you MIGHT want to start here:  http://wiki.nxtcrypto.org/  or here:  http://mynxt.org  or here:  http://nxtcrypto.org/

From an investment point of view, a little while ago I outlined some of the main reasons why I'm in Nxt for the long haul here:

https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,2909.msg28541.html#msg28541

Since then, lots of exciting things have been happening, and even more is coming. Here's a good way to keep up with latest news/community activity without wading through the huge main thread:

NXT, EMUNIE, ETHEREUM: Stands BITCOIN before separation?

http://zuercherin.com/nxt-emunie-ethereum-steht-bitcoin-vor-der-abloesung/

Quote

- blah blah blah... - The coin has gained a lot of attention in the cryptoscene, also has many followers ( Cheesy ) , if you look at the Bitcointalk.

Quote

- a nice comparison of Nxt and Bitcoin, both have anonymous developers Smiley
